Welcome to the 2023 MFA Mulligan Stew!!!

We are excited to see you tomorrow! We wanted to send out some quick details about the event to help things go more smoothly overall.

This event is a fundraiser for the Minnesota Frisbee Association. If you are not a member of the MFA, go to https://minnesotafrisbeeassociation.com/product/2023-membership/ or we will have a QR code for you to register at check-in. For just $5, you can become a voting member. We’ve also partnered with local businesses and courses to offer you some additional perks as a Flyers Club member for just $25. These include discounts on purchases from local retailers and free rounds at the area’s best courses!

Schedule:
-Please check in from 8-9:15am so we can build cards.
-We will have a players meeting at 9:30am and send you off to your starting holes.
-We will tee off from gorgeous (and shoveled) Blue Ribbon Pines at 10am.

During the round:
For the round, you are awarded 1 mulligan per hole. Additional mulligans were available for purchase through Disc Golf Scene, but will also be available at check-in if you didn’t buy them already. As a reminder, if you take a mulligan, you must take that shot! If you purchased extra mulligans, you can take those extra mulligans at any point. But again, if you take a mulligan, you must take the result of that shot!! (This is NOT a “cali” best-shot style format)

ALSO, in addition to writing your score for each hole, please make a DOT for each mulligan used. This will be used to break ties – with the player who used fewer mulligans coming out on top!

Payouts:
Overall there are $10 withheld from each entry ($5 for greens fees and $5 for the MFA). The remainder of entry will be paid out. Open divisions will be paid out via PayPal after the event. Am divisions will be paid out in BRP funny money.

Raffle:
MFA members will also be included in a MFA members only raffle! Raffle prizes include but are not limited to: Gateway Titan Portable basket, disc golf bags, a Matt Sime Treasures of the Forest mini, and more! We will be organizing the raffle during the round, so if you’d like to be included make sure to register for the MFA before you start your round.
