DIVISIONS / DATES:
Everyone is playing two rounds on Saturday, July 16th on a shotgun start. Round one hole assignments have been posted, but you still need to check in first.

LATE WITHDRAWAL / NO-SHOW
At this point, it is too late to receive a refund. However, if you notify me at 785-764-2229 prior to tee time you will still receive your player pack if you are an Am. No call, no show forfeits your player pack and entry fee.
To cancel, text or call your name and division, with comment you are canceling to 785-764-2229.
PARKING -
There is a lot going on at the park the day of our event. Please be mindful of using only one parking spot. If you are playing at the far end of the course it would be a good idea to park in the lots that are closer to that end.
RESTROOMS
There are restrooms at Hole 18 & 1.
CHECK-IN
Check-in is from 8:00 am - 8:45 am at the Shelter near Hole 18 and Hole 1. All players, Pro and Am, need to check in. If you don’t check in, I will presume you are a No Call, No Show and you may be scratched from the event.
SCORING
We will be using the PDGA digital scoring system. (This is not Udisc). To access it, go to pdga.com/score. Enter in the password, then your last name or PDGA number, and the card will pull up. ThereI will be paper scorecards as a backup. You can also use udisc as a backup. However, to submit the scores, it needs to be done through the PDGA scoring system.

COURSE CONDITIONS
While Hole 13 has been under water for a good portion of the spring, it is now playable.
WATER
It is going to be incredibly hot. While there will be water coolers on the course I fully expect they will go dry at some point. They will be refilled as soon as possible, but you need to be prepared to bring enough water for yourself. Enough water is measured in gallons. Bring gallons of water with you. The water on the course is a back-up. If you are filling up your water bottles before either round, you didn’t bring enough water.
IF YOU NEED TO WITHDRAW
If you decide for any reason that you don’t or can’t play the second round, please tell Matthew Schulz, the onsite Assistant Tournament Director. This is crucial as it will affect others on how the second round is organized.
ROUND PRIZES
Round 1 - If you have the Hot Round (lowest score) for your whole DIVISION, there is a Hot Round mini. You may say it’s only a mini, but the only way you can get one is by having the hot round. It’s a pride thing. (Fine Print - must have 2 people in the division to have a Hot Round. If there is a tie, a judgement call will be made to either award all ties a mini if the division is large, the first hole that was won - i.e. skins - will be awarded if the division is small.)
AMATEUR PLAYER PACKS
Ams will receive an Innova tournament stamped disc and a shirt. If you want to research the available discs ahead of time, they are:

Amateurs can also pick up their player packs at the Olathe shop Friday until closing at 6pm.
LUNCH BREAK / ROUND 2
We will have an approximately 1 hour lunch break after the last card is completed before starting round 2. Round 2 start time and hole assignments will be posted at the same PDGA event page link provided above and directly below.

We are working to have Bryce’s Food Truck available onsite. At this time we are 90% certain we can get all of the details together in time to make it happen.
ACE / CTP FUND
If you paid into the ace fund during registration you are included in this. If you didn’t, you can sign up when you check in if you want to. If neither applies, skip to next section.
Thank you for participating into the Ace Fund. With all Maverick DG events, the Ace fund is paid out as large ticket items and not as cash. This is one of the ways MavDG is ‘maverick’ and it helps to pay for tournament expenses. I determine the payout items so that what is given out is higher than what was paid in so both the winner and the tournament benefits.
The ace fund prizes will be:

Quantity 2 of InZone XXL Kwik Stik retriever w/ pivoting head($70 ea)
$35 Maverick DG Gift Card
Please note: If there is a tie for first place in your division, we may start the CTP game before your playoff is done. I realize that this policy has changed in the past and I’m trying to be consistent with it. If you super duper rather play the CTP game than for the First Place Trophy, you can always forfeit the playoff. I would ask you though - why are you playing in a tournament if not to win the prize of First Place?
AWARDS / PAYOUTS
To decrease the amount of congregation we will not have a formal awards ceremony. Matt will give the award as soon as the clear winner is determined after the second round. PRO PAYOUTS can be either a check picked up at the Olathe shop the same day, a check mailed to you, or PayPal Goods and Services (winner pays fees) based on what you chose during registration. AM PAYOUTS can either be the same day at the Olathe or you can receive a Gift Card code to redeem via my webstore maverickdiscgolf.com. If you choose the webstore, it will charge you sales tax and shipping. Only about 50% of what I have in the store is listed online.
