Yep! An Amateur player can compete in a Pro division. If that Am player cashes in a Pro division they can decline the cash and maintain their Am status and compete in PDGA Majors. They can accept the cash award and maintain their Am status if their rating is below 970, but that player will no longer be eligible for PDGA Majors

Think tight holes in the woods on 15 of 18 holes. But even the ones called open have issues. There are 4 that put the creek in play. There is natural OB throughout, but much work has been done to make it "manageable". All holes are par 3. Holes vary in length from around 200 to 14 in the long which is the longest. Hole 10 in the long is probably the meanest one. Depending on your division you will play the longs or the shorts. As long as you stay on the fairway being under pair can be done. Get off the fairway to often and you will take bogeys and likely be over par.
