Greetings All!
Thanks for signing up for the Space Race @ Creekside. I'm stoked for this event, and for the players pack discs, and to see all y'all on Friday night.
Waitlisters - you're on this email chain in case somebody drops. I may be able to push you through if you're in the "GEN2" No Players Pack - division regardless - which I will do by Friday - so you'll know if you're in. If you don't get off the waitlist you'll get a full refund.
Some updates for you:
1. Just got tracking info from MVP - players packs will be arriving tomorrow (Thursday) and will be available immediately for pickup once they show up. My UPS guy generally gets here before 12pm, so I'm tentatively good to have y'all show up any time after noon - and before 7pm when we close.
2. Early pickups will ALSO be available on Friday from 10am - 5 pm. After 5pm I will be headed to Creekside to get the place ready for glow.
3. The ACE POT will be over $400. If you're not in on the ace pot, you can adjust your Registration on DGScene to get in, or you can pay in day-of at check-in.
4. We have a few Soft Proton Watermelon Pitches available. This is the only opportunity I have to sell them cheaper than MSRP - so if you would like one - adjust your registration on DGScene as well!
5. GROUPS - This is a "MAKE YOUR OWN CARD EVENT" - but we will NEED TO HAVE 5 tops AT LEAST on every hole, potentially 6 tops on a few. We have had this happen numerous times at our regular glow nights with no issue. If you don't have a group, you'll be able to link up with folks at the event the night of! Make friends!
6. CTP's - There will be CTP's on EVERY SINGLE HOLE. 3 of those will be Cash CTP's, only for those of you who buy into the CTP's for your Division. Cash CTP's will be divisional. Every other CTP will be in play, regardless of if you bought in or not. We will have a list of CTP's posted by Friday Afternoon on DGSCENE.
7. Win a Basket! - Hole 1 will be our "Film Hole". Hit an Ace on Film on HOLE 1 and win an MVP Black Hole Pro HD (Used for CSO, but in great shape).
8. PAYOUTS - We will be running this with Cash Payouts, standard 40% pro payouts for all divisions. If you're in the event, your cash is already in. If you want payouts as Shop Credit we will add 10% to your payout.
9. LAYOUT - If you haven't been to one of our glow nights before - we run them pretty simply. We play Creekside, with normal mandos and OB rules - with a couple of small exceptions listed below. With this in mind, there is no caddy book for this event, since it's all set up on UDisc. Scoring will be on UDisc - you NEED UDisc downloaded and a profile (free to make) to play.
EXCEPTIONS FOR THIS FRIDAY:
- NO ISLAND ON 6. That hole will already be hard enough in the darkness.
- If you LOSE a disc - but the card does NOT think it went OB, there are NO added penalty strokes. Just throw from where you think it landed as if you had found it there - with the card's approval.
