We had some people join last minute, so I figured I'd make a post here instead of sending out another email for reference:
There will be NO PLAYERS' MEETING tomorrow. Please be at your starting hole for a 9:00 AM tee-time. There will be a 2 minute warning before we begin. Any additional warm up throws after the 2 minute warning will incur a 1 stroke penalty per shot. Your starting hole can be found at:
PLAYER PACKS for the Amature divisions may be picked up under the tent any time after 8:00 AM. If you would like to purchase any additional player pack discs, they will be available for $15 after Round 2.
COURSE LAYOUT:
ROUND 1: MA3 and FA3 play from the Short Tees. MPO/MP40/MA40/MA1/MA2 play from the Long Tees.
ROUND 2: All Divisions Play from the Short Tees.
Hole 2 does have a short tee pad. Keep walking parallel to the road, past the long tee pad. It will be a sidearm approach to the basket.
SCORING: Someone on your card must keep score. We will be using PDGA Live for official scoring. (www.pdga.com/score). Access code: GOLD. Please run a backup scorecard so there are no discrepancies. Feel free to use UDisc or there will be paper copies under the tent. Please remember to Verify, Approve, and Submit your Official Score before you head off to lunch.
LUNCH: Will be 1 hour after the last card has submitted their scores. I will send out an email and post on Disc Golf Scene for when Round 2 will start.
OUT OF BOUNDS (OB): Out of Bounds is as follows: On or across the road, In the river surrounded by water, the Parking lot, and the Baseball Field. If you throw OB, you may either throw from your last lie or bring your disc back to where it was last in-bounds. Both options incur a 1 stroke penalty.
Ignore the white stakes.
**No 2-meter penalty.
MANDATORIES are in effect for the Long Tees Only:
Hole 17: You must stay on the Right side of the Baseball Field Fence.
Hole 18: You must stay on the Right side of the Fairway.
Closest to The Pin (CTPs) will be active for round 1 only:
MPO: Hole 1
FA3: Hole 2
MP40/MA40: Hole 4
MA1: Hole 6
MA3: Hole 7
MA2: Hole 16
ACE POOL: Entries into the $5 Ace Pool will be accepted up until the start of Round 1. Aces will count for both rounds. If no Aces are hit, there will be a throw off after the last cad has been submitted.
PAYOUTS: I will have a Payout schedule available after round 1. There will be no awards ceremony. Just give me 10 minutes to fill in the names of the winners.
