Okay sorry behind on posting but here are a few more updates.
Please remember if you are sick or show any symptoms of COVID we will offer a full refund. If you're sick, stay home.

Players packs will be at Hazy Shade 723 Watervliet Ave, Dayton, OH 45420 starting Friday from 10-9.

We will bring you down the side past the front doors and directly into the warehouse. The doors with the awesome new Michael Barnard art. Staff will be waiting to greet you. And so will another new disc designed by Michael!

At this time we will check your email and Ace Fund status. If we need to update this we can do it then for payout. If you changed your partner or they didn't have a correct name you will need to contact us or come together. Otherwise if your name is listed in DGS you don't need to check in together.

If you can't make it Friday we will be open 12 to 9 on Saturday and packs can be picked up then as well, and Sunday 12 to 8. Again if you wait until after the event is over and have an incorrect email this may delay your payout.

Now when we 1st check you in we will hand you a stack of cards. These will be redeemed for players pack items and specials. It will also have the Combine card. As soon as you have these cards you can leave and come back if there is a long line. You could say go over and throw the Combine then come back and run through the shop. Please remember these cards should be treated like CASH. If you lose it we will not replace it. Same for the Combine card. Please take care of these items.

Combine will be at Belmont on top of the hill by the shelter. Look for Team Hazy to guild you. Remember this is for registered BYOP Amateur division players only.

Udsic
You should have got an email from Udisc tonight, if you had a good email on dgs. If you don't have an account there will be a link included for you to create an account. If you do not have one please take a minute and make one. It's a great app and has a free option. If you didn't have a good email you will be able to check Tee times on the website. I will post a link once we post times which should be tomorrow.

Players Party
In years past we have always had our Friday players party. This year like most BYOP this will be different as well. Saturday we will have the Combine Finals, Glow Round, and Devils Wind will be having live music and specials for BYOP players for us.

Tee Times
Just a reminder to the reminders it's on you to check and double check your tee times and be on time. If you are late you have a 3 minute grace and then we will go. Once you miss your tee time you can not join mid hole. You will also be stroked par plus 4 for every hole you miss.

Also please consider there are almost 700 players for this event and we can not guarantee any times or groupings.

In the about section of DGS dgscene.com/hazybyop you can find your pool. In your pool your courses. You play them in the order listed. Example MPO will play Echo Saturday and CFP Sunday.

Friday Flex and practice
Friday the courses are open to play. There are flex rounds scheduled but if a group is not teeing off jump in. We do ask you honor all tournament rules of play as there will be players on the course who paid to play and are competing

Glow.
We have a cap on the number of players we will take for glow. If it's not hit and you want to play on the day of, you can still sign up. Once it's full though sorry we will not be able to add more players.

Bees
I have seen lots of posts about bees lately. We have talked to parks and asked them to be removed but please be aware and use caution as this year this seems to be worse than I can remember in the past.

Friday we will post the players book and WOW....this thing is amazing and we are stoked to show it off. We hope it covers every question possible as well as some pretty awesome details

Players packs will be available Friday from at 10 - 9 at Hazy Shade 723 Watervliet Ave Dayton.

I wanted to answer some questions I have had in one place for everyone.
Registration closed Monday at Midnight
Tee Times? What course will I play? What day am I playing?
To accommodate all 700 of you we needed to make a change. So all players will play 1 round each day on a tee time. These times will be posted on Udisc. If you don't have an account go get one it's a great app and it's got a free option. If you do have an account it should send you a notification when we set times. That is if you have the correct email in dgs. Your course is based on your Pool. Pools are groups of divisions. Those can be seen on the about section of the dsg page and on Facebook in the event page.
When will we post tee times?
We will post times Thursday night. Even though we will close registration Monday night we still wait. Why? Because someone will for sure drop out or change divisions which creates a domino effect. It's been shown that it causes more issues than waiting to set times. We have some of the area's best TD's on this event and I have consulted some of the best TD's in the country. This just works best about 24 hours before.
Players pack pick up.
Like lots this event seems to be a moving target and honestly one I have never done. SO I plan and plan and then throw those away and do something different. You will pick up your players pack starting on Friday at the Hazy Shade or some place very close to there. Packs will be available to pick up all weekend if you can't make it Friday. You do not have to check in Friday to play although we would definitely prefer it. Just be on time to your round Saturday if you can't make it in before.If you just don't show up we will offer you a players pack but not a refund.
Does just one person check the team in?
NO!! Not this year. Part of your player's pack will be something YOU will want to get so you need to be there. Also we will be issuing a credit to you to spend. This is basically cash and we can't replace it if lost UNLESS you trade it for a gift card. We explored just adding a credit to everyone but honestly emails....too risky. This seems best. And did I mention you will want to get this yourself.
Combine
This event is for amateur players of the BYOP ONLY. One of the perks of playing this event. This is a test run of something we hope to do in the future so we are feeling out a format. You will need to check in 1st and get your score card. Then head over to Belmont and the team will be on the hill waiting on you. Remember the top 5 will compete Saturday before Glow to see who wins. You need to be there for your shot at a spot.
Flex Start
There are flex rounds at all the courses Friday. Sign ups are on DGS. We will be able to take you day of but the TDs most likely will not be able to take cash so you will need to sign up on DGS then as well. These are singles. Went back and forth on this and honestly just seemed to make it a little easier logistically so we went with it. Up to listen to opinions for next year,
Sunday Tee Times
These are set by Saturday results. We will try to set them as divisions close.
Disclaimer
We may play Hazy Staff and course TD's off schedule over the weekend. We need to be able to keep the courses staffed and the store staffed and it's a lot to cover. We may send groups early or late Saturday and Early on Sunday if need be. Again strictly being transparent with this.
Payout
Payout for Amature players will be done by Hazy digital gift cards. We will be working to load those as quickly as possible once a division closes but it will take a little time. When complete you will get an email with a QR code and a link to the site.You can use these both in store and online. Or at any event we may be vending. Pro players will be paid by PayPal or you can make arrangements to pick up cash at the shop. You will need to let us know ahead for this so we can make arrangements.
COVID
Ugh...not here to discuss any side on this just state a few facts. If for ANY reason you feel sick or have any symptoms we will offer a full refund all the way up until you check in and get your players pack. At that point you can keep your players pack and honestly its value is higher than the $70 you paid without even playing. Masks, with the increase of people we would prefer you to wear a mask when in the shop that weekend. Please be smart and again if you don't feel good stay home.
Few tips
If you need to withdraw from the event please don't wait until Friday. This makes a real mess for lots of things. If you can't play just let me know we will get it straightened out.
Be on time! This is your responsibility to do this. If you are late to your tee time you will be stroked and honestly that just stinks for all involved. Check and double check your tee times, things happen so do changes.
Look at your players book. It will have tons of info and we have worked really hard on it this year. It has so much useful info you are selling yourself short by not
Ace Fund
If you're not in by Friday night you are not in and it will be a big one. Check your dgs page and we will mention this to you at check in if you come Friday. It will be 1 massive ace fund and anyone who hits it will get 1 share of it. If you hit 3 aces over the weekend 3 shares. And yes I know different players play different courses and different holes. Here's the thing if we split it you would be throwing for less to start and still split with anyone in your pool who hits. This pushes the number higher for all players and I think will work out the best. Plus it's easier to track so this time again it weighed in the decision. What's that...you're not in??? Might reconsider that. We have seen plenty of players over the years make that same decision and hit the ace. It's a large chunk of money to leave on the table.--CURRENTLY $2,820

Okay here is a nice update. Fisher is almost done. We hope to get baskets in place next weekend. Dave has done an awesome job! This looks to be a awesome layout. There will be multiple placements for this course over time but the layout we will set it in will be tournament layout for those who play. Huge Shout out to Montgomery County for getting this done.
Belmont
Shane is taking us on a trip back in time and 19 will be hole 1 for this years event. You will play long 2,3, and 16 top of the hill to short placement. There will be soccer games Saturday so we may change this on the fly but we should be good. The baskets are all set. Oh and did I mention we will play 18's pad to 1's basket mando on the corner of the parking lot?
Karohl will be all longs except 13. A few of the baskets will be in short over the week but Adam should be moving them for leagues I think so if you want to get some practice on those holes in go out and play a Tuesday league.
Sycamore. This place just got a major grooming and looks GREAT! Thanks to all involved. Mike has done a awesome job getting this ready and its all set except for hole one needs to have the basket moved still. This will be done soon.
Echo Valley MPO/FPO will be playing Gold Tees so you can enjoy the whole park that Carl has worked so hard on. ALL AGE PROTECTED DIVISIONS will play Blues
CFP Mr Crabtree has all the baskets in place for you. MOP/FPO will play Golds MP40/50 / FP40/50 will play Blues. MP60/FP60 will play White
Friday Flex Start, Hazy Combine, RRD Glow at Belmont coming up now!
