Thank you all for registering for GVCCC.
Also thanks to everyone who donated to EDGE, we had $122 donated through registration and 54 players at @ $2 each is $108 more making Sat donations total $230!!
Have to thank Titan Dsm, Bike World, Goliath Discs, Innova Discs, Dsm Disc Golf Club, Michael Deeter, Jay/Des Reading and EDGE, 515 Vape, everyone who donated to the women and EDGE online when they signed up, The Claring Family
As I have done the past several years there is a free raffle for a basket and this year I am doing 2 baskets, 1 each day. The drawing will take place during the 2nd round and must be present to win.
There will be a card CTP on Hole 7 during the first round, there will be a paper with each starting hole on it, write the name of who ever is closest on your card on the line with your starting hole on it.
Hole 7 will have an EDGE CTP marked with an orange flag for all Juniors.
Hole 7 will have an EDGE CTP for women/old guys marked with a pink flag.
Ace fund is $185, if no ace we will throw off for $100 and the other $85 will go to EDGE (I know I said 1/2 but this was easier math) lol
The format will be 2 rounds of 18 holes all from the short pads with roughly an hour for lunch in between rounds. Holes 4,5,6,7,8,10,12,14,17,18 only have 1 tee pad.
Ob is simple, on or over any road or fence. The curb is the line on the road and the line is out. The shelters/playgrounds are OB as well. Any water is casual.
We will be using PDGA live scoring, either got to pdga.com/score or use the pdga live scoring app. The password for live scoring will be GVCCCW
I do ask for an adult to help with live scoring for the juniors if possible.
Make sure to check in at the shelter before 9am as we will be doing a brief meeting then teeing off before 9:30am.
In case of severe weather there will be 3 blasts of the air horn. Then everyone mark their discs with a stick or something and seek shelter. After the weather has passed we will send players back out and resume play.
Hope everyone has a good time!! See you Sat morning.
Your TD's
