PLAYER INFORMATION:
Hello Players!
We are just days away from the FDR Ghouls Fest! Below is your digital player's meeting, where you'll find all relevant event information.
SCHEDULE:
MPO, FPO, MP40, MA1, MA40, MA50, will be playing on Saturday, 10/30. MA2, MA3, FA1, FA2, FA3 will be playing on Sunday, 10/31. The schedule below will apply for both days of the event.
7:45 - Player Check-In
8:58 - Two Minute Warning
9:00 – Round 1 Tee Off
45 minutes after the last card in Round 1, we’ll begin Round 2
CHECK-IN:
Upon arrival, please head straight to the shelter near the practice basket area to check in. Please do your best to spread out around tournament central - while we are in a safer COVID environment now, we want to minimize large groups. Social distancing and mask wearing is encouraged. Player's packs will be available for pickup after you check in - tournament staff will be on hand to assist in picking up your swag.
There will be no players meeting, we will call two minutes at 8:58am and then start promptly at 9am. Round 2 start time will be announced during the lunch break and posted on our Facebook page. It is your responsibility to be at your hole on time for tee off. If you are late, you will be penalized as per PDGA rule 1.05.F.

SCORING & GROUPS:
We'll be using the PDGA Digital Scorecard for the event. Your hole assignments will be confirmed the evening before the event and will be communicated to you during check in. Please familiarize yourself with how to use the PDGA Digital Scorecard HERE. Please note that each individual player will need to validate their score at the end of each round.
COURSE INFO:
Please be mindful of all park goers when throwing - politely ask any park goers to move out of your way and always send up a spotter if people are nearby. All OB is marked by 1x1 white wooden stakes (except on hole 2 which is marked by white flags); any old ropes are irrelevant. All water is casual, except Lake Mohansic past the basket on Hole 5. Players can take relief from the drainage ditches on Hole 10. The front of the course has a large volume of leaves on the ground - please use a spotter whenever applicable. You have 3 minutes to search for a lost discs; please be mindful of your other competitors when looking for a disc. The normal course OB is in play as follows:
Hole 1: Park Road on right and beyond is OB
Hole 2: Flagged areas to the left and right of the fairway are OB
Hole 4: OB to the left of yellow basket along the rock wall guarding the Hole 7 tee box
Hole 5: Lake Mohansic behind the white basket is OB
Hole 7: OB on the near side of the rock wall, with a turn to the right as you approach the yellow basket; OB shots will throw from the drop zone located on the North side of the creek
Hole 9: Park Road on left and beyond is OB
Hole 10: Marked area on the right is OB; the OB line ends on the south side of the pit by the yellow basket - OB does not carry the East edge of the pit
Hole 12: OB on the right side of the fairway; OB surrounding the white basket
Hole 18: The basketball courts are OB; The OB area from Hole 10
CTPS:
Round 1 - Every card will have their own CTP thanks to our friends at Sports Barn, as well as a number of other individuals who donated discs! CTP holes are outlined below. When your card reaches your assigned hole go for the park job - closest on EACH card will get to pick a disc from our CTP bin.

MA2, MA3, FA1, FA2, FA3 - Hole 1Y
Round 2 - The entire field will have a single CTP.

If you win a CTP, please head to tournament central immediately after your round to pick up your prize.
AWARDS:
Winners will be announced and trophies will be awarded immediately following the completion of the event in the shelter area. Please feel free to wear a costume if you'd like - we'll have a special prize for the best costume for each day of the event!
Pro Divisions - All pro divisions will be playing for cash payouts. Payouts will be distributed no later than Monday, November 1st to the PayPal email you used to register. If you cash and need payment sent to a different email, please let us know.
Am Divisions - All am divisions will be playing for trophies. First, second, and third place will be awarded for divisions with more than 6 players; for divisions with less entrants first and second place trophies will be given out accordingly.
FINAL PSA:
This is a PDGA C-Tier event - all PDGA rules are in effect.
If there are any questionable circumstances on the course, play a provisional and a determination will be made factoring PDGA Guidelines and a review of the circumstances by tournament staff.
Please double check your digital scorecards before you submit them - there’s a 2-stroke penalty for incorrect scorecards.
This event is rain or shine. We are expecting some wet weather on Saturday (10/30), please be prepared to play in the rain.
