Shore Acres Disc Golf Club welcomes you to Dunes View Double IX. The following is intended to cover the key player information for the event. This post will be stickyed on the DGS page and updated as needed up until the day of the event so make sure to check back to see if there are any changes.
There is currently a waitlist for Amateur/Mixed Divisions. If the Pro field does not fill, those spots will be filled from the waitlist.
Many players took advantage of cashless pre-registration. If you have not already paid and need to cancel, please do so 24 hours prior to the event. No showing for this event may jeopardize your ability to cashless pre-register for future SADGC events. As there is a significant waitlist, it is very important that registered teams who are not able to make it cancel 24 hours in advance in order to allow those on the waitlist the opportunity to play.
Check in/player pack pick up is 8:00-9:00. All amateur players will receive a custom stamped player pack disc. There will be a very brief player meeting at 9:15 and tee off will occur at 9:30. 2nd round begins 1 hour after last card is in.
Player check-in and Tournament Central will be located at the covered pavilion north of Hole 14 tee pad and west of Hole 2 tee pad.
The first round will use the yellow pin locations. The second round will use the black pin locations. We will also be playing alternate holes A-F. Alternate holes only have one basket so these will stay the same for both rounds. There may be one additional temporary hole that will be played both rounds, but that is yet to be determined.
There will be an ace pool and a 50/50 CTP. Each is an additional $5. There will be an Ace Pool CTP. It will stay out all day. If there is not an ace, the money will go to the CTP winner. Please only put your name on this if you have paid in to the ace pool. The 50/50 CTP will also stay out all day. These will be on a Lettered hole.
Parking is limited so players are encouraged to carpool. Plus, this way partners can spend more time together bonding and talking strategy.
Cell phone service is pretty limited at the course. At this time, we are planning on using paper scorecards. Please make sure to total the number of strokes before turning in your scorecard. If the total score is incorrect, improperly recorded, or missing, two penalty throws will be added to the correct total score.
