OAKRIDGE PLAYERS EMAIL WAS JUST SENT OUT!!
Please read it over and let me know if you have any questions.
Hey Disc Golfers!!
Thank you for choosing to play in Doubles at Oakridge Country Club this weekend! This course is seriously awesome and I can't wait for it to be played again this season. I apologize for sending your player email out so late. I will keep everything brief but complete here for you to reference and be prepared for tomorrow. There will be some things here that differ from what was originally written on Disc Golf Scene though the event will be the same as expected.
If you have any questions after reading this over then please let me know and I can address it in the morning. Thank you all again for supporting this course and event!
Schedule
8:45am-9:25am Player Check-In at the Dojo trailer
- Green fees and cart rentals have been paid with your entry. Please check in with me before asking the clubhouse staff about your cart.
9:30am Player's Meeting in front of the clubhouse
- PLEASE ATTEND THE PLAYERS MEETING!
10am Round 1 Shotgun Start
Scoring & Starting Holes
Groups will keep score via the UDisc app. Each team has been assigned a starting hole for round 1 which can be found on the sheet attached below. Each player will need to check into the event before the group can create a scorecard. You may do this starting at 12am tonight.
Once everyone in your group is checked in, 1 player will start a scorecard and begin play. Be sure to start your group on the correct hole. UDisc can be really difficult sometimes so please be diligent in getting your group checked in and card set up properly. I am here to help.

Round 2, cards will be assigned and created for you. Once they are published, you should be able to see your group, starting hole, and starting tee time all from the home page on UDisc.
OB Rules
All course OB rules can be found on UDisc. I have attached a link to the UDisc caddie book for each layout below. These will also be visible on your scorecard live as you play.
Caddie Book Links (In UDisc and Email)
Gold Tees - Blue Tees - White Tees
Course Layouts
The course plays the same as last year with 1 new hole (8), a few small changes in exact basket and tee locations, and new hole number. No longer will hole 9 bring you back to the clubhouse. This will help a ton with course flow and frankly, is what should have been done last year.
Tees are only marked with flags! During round 1, the blue tees will have numbered signs to help with navigation. Those signs will be moved to the White tees for round 2. Please use UDisc as your main source for navigating the course.
Doubles Formats and Order of Play
Each round will be best shot doubles. Partners can throw in any order that they wish.
Breakfast and Lunch Preorders
Oakridge Country Club has a kitchen that will be open for both breakfast and lunch.
There will be sausage egg and chees crousaints available for purchase in the morning for anyone who wants them. These will be limited and first come first serve.
Lunch will feature a short menu. Pizza, Chicken Tenders, Fries, and Beer Cheese and Pretzels are on the Menu for lunch Saturday. If you plan to eat lunch at the clubhouse it is greatly helpful if you are able to place your order with the staff before round 1 starts.
Purchasing food, drinks, and snacks from the country club helps give them reason to keep having us back each year. If you are able and willing I encourage you to do so.
Golf Carts
Golf carts have all been rented for the day. If you purchased a golf cart with your entry then you have a cart for use the entire day. The staff will have your names and have a key ready for you one you have checked in at Tournament Central. It would be wise to drop them off at the clubhouse to charge between rounds.
Carts must remain on the cart path at all times!! There is a flagged temporary cart path on hole 12 that players will use as a designated cart path for that stretch of the course.
Trophies and Payouts
After the event the winners of each division will receive a small trophy courtesy of Hogwild Handiwork! Payout will be awarded to tot top 45% of each division using the PDGA payout calculator. The pro division will payout in cash. All other divisions will be awarded store credit to The Disc Golf Dojo. That credit will be applied to your account for use anytime and is good for 2 years.
