Jeff we need more damn old farts to play ! And thanks for making playing from various tees for certain divisions possible. If every tournament did this there be a lot more novices and not so good players skipping happily knowing we still have a chance of having a great round .

Hole 34 at J is a par 4 the group behind you was throwing their tee shots while your group was finishing the hoke knowing they are not going to reach you. They do this for speed of play. That is very different from having 2 groups start on a single hole. 5 some are allowed but as a club we decided long ago that 4some are a much more enjoyable experience for players. I'm sorry you are on the waitlist. The event didn't fill for at least 2 hours and we offer early registration for players who would like to sponsor a hole. Maybe it is something you should consider next event. Although we want to appease everyone it is just not possible. We don't make changes after registration opens unless an emergency causes us to. We will not be changing this to 5somes. It would be unfair to those players who registered on time.i set alarms on my phone to get into events I want to attend.
