Good evening!
I wanted to get this tournament email out this evening. Cheryl and I are super excited about the upcoming Crossover Spring Fever 2 event at Millikin this Saturday (4/2). This is a 2 round, 24 hole PDGA C-tier event.
The following will be the most important details for the event. Please reach out to us if you have any additional questions or
comments before the event.
The event is a 2 rounder of 24 holes. We are playing all 18 Millikin holes, plus 6 temp holes. It should be a fun and challenging day for everyone.

1 - OB over fence left or on/over path right and long
A (temp) - OB over fence long or on/over path left
2 - OB on/over path short or path or gravel paths long. You must land inside the "island" or retee
B (temp) - OB over fence left
3 - OB over fence left
4 - NO OB
5 - NO OB
6 - NO OB
7 - NO OB
8 - OB on/over pavement
C (temp) - NO OB
D (temp) - OB on gravel or in the playground area marked
9 - NO OB
E (temp) - OB on or over pavement
10 - OB over fence long
F (temp) - OB on over over path left or long
11- NO OB
12 - NO OB
13 - NO OB
14 - NO OB
15 - NO OB
16 - NO OB
17 - OB past posts left (post to post)
18 - OB past posts left (post to post)
The course is marked. Any standing water on the course is played as casual relief, with no penalty.
The schedule will look like this for the day:
8-845a - Player check in at Shelter 13
9a - Shotgun Start 1st round
@12-1p - Lunch
@ 1p 2nd round
@ 4p Awards
I can't stress enough, please take the short amount of time to physically check in with us at Shelter 13. This helps us make sure that everyone is here, and there are no holes with less than 3 players. It might not seem like a big deal to you, but it causes us issues trying to figure out if you are present or not. Please, please, please, just stop by and check in with us. Thank you in advance for this! Plus, you can pick up your event tshirt when you check in.
It's going to be a fun day and event. The layout flows very well. We are not going to have a players meeting. It is your responsibility to know what's expected for the day and be at your hole for the start of each round. Hole assignments for round 1 will be posted on the PDGA page by 8p Friday evening.

For the flow of the day, the order of the holes will be on the physical scorecard and in PDGA Live. The access code is: fever
If you decide that this event is not for you, to receive a full refund, you must withdraw by 3p Friday.
I will have hole assignments up by Friday night, but just know that they could change due to players dropping/adding last minute. Our goal is 4 per card. Cards are grouped randomly by division by PDGA. Since this is a shotgun start, there is no need for special requests because everyone starts and ends about the same time. Being a competitive and sanctioned event, we don't group friends up for that reason.
Following the round, please give us a few minutes to get everything organized so we can hand out awards and payouts. With 96 people, that is a lot to work through. If you are curious if you are going to get a payout, it is the top 40% per division by the PDGA. That will help you determine if you need/want to stick around. The Open players will receive cash/PayPal, and the AM's Crossover Cash. This can be exchanged for disc golf merchandise that we will have on hand.
For those who are in the ACE fund, if no ACE is hit, we will do a throw off. The winner of the throw off will win the whole ace pot.
In the event there is a tie for first place in a division, they playoff will start on hole #1 until there is a winner, playing the flow of holes of the event (temp and letter holes included) from the blue tees.
This is a PDGA event, so everyone should be up to date on the PDGA's stance on what is legal and what is not legal.
