11:25 am Round 2 start. New hole assignments will be posted on PDGA. Round 1 finished a lot sooner than planned. No players meeting. Go straight to new hole assignments and wait for the bullhorn siren. Players on top of their card will have to pick up their CTP flags and scorecards. Same holes for CTPs but different CTP prizes. Mens CTP for round 1 wasn’t picked up which will now be used on Hole 2 for round 2. To view new hole assignments head to the PDGA tournament website. Same layout for round 2.

The course was walked yesterday which had a different layout that most are used to. The layout had some par 4s and par 5s. UDisc wasn’t allowing me to edit or add any layout. With this happening the current layout is what everyone is playing which is the original 18 with hole one starting on east Roosevelt street. Each hole has one basket placement. Some pars will be different for some divisions (MA-60, Womens Divisions and MA-3). I was hoping that everyone would play the new layout that was created but without the UDisc map, it would be really confusing for most people. Tee pads will have hole numbers on the tee signs. To guide you through the course, go to the UDisc app and follow the “Main” layout. Some basket placements will be different than the app but it should be easy to figure out which basket belongs to which hole. Checkin will start at 6:30. Players meeting will start at 7:30 and round one at 8:00 am. Make sure to get your scorecard and CTP flags that will be on the scoreboard at tournament central. Paper score cards will have a map on the back with basket positions. Email sent will have rules and basket positions.

Tournament Central/Checkin/Players Packs-
Tournament central will be located on East Roosevelt Street next to the restrooms (as shown on the map attached). Checkin will start around 6:30 am. There will be a canopy with innova banners and two tables setup with players packs. That will be tournament central. Each player will get two premium innova discs, innova lapel pin and a innova hat. Unfortunately Innova rearranged the whole order so many disc choices have been replaced due to a sponsorship drop. This is now a first come first served on discs and hats.

Parking-
There are four parking lots close to tournament central. Two on the South and North of tournament central (as shown on the map.

Players Meeting-
Players meeting will start around 7:20ish.
Round 1 & 2 start-Both rounds will be a shotgun start. Round 1 is scheduled to start at 8:00 am. Round 2 will start one hour after the last card is turned in from the first round. No players meeting for round 2. Round 2 start time and new hole assignments will be posted on the PDGA tournament page.

This event will be using the PDGA online scoring. Head to the online scoring site…

Once there, type in the access code (CACTUS22). All upper case. Type in your PDGA number or full name and start your round. Paper score cards will be available at tournament central on the scoreboard.

Ace Pot-
Ace pot was around $340 but due to the amount of people that have dropped, the ace pot has lowered to $210. If more than one ace is hit, ace pot will be split evenly with all ace pot winners (if ace pot fee was paid).

CTP-
There will be plenty of CTPs for both rounds. Women and men will have separate CTPs. Make sure to check your starting holes on the scoreboard for CTP flags.
Mens CTP Round 1: Hole #1, Hole #9.
Mens CTP Round 2: Hole #17, Hole #16.
Womens CTP Round 1: Hole #4, Hole #6.
Womens CTP Round 2: Hole #4, Hole #10.

Disc For $ale/Award Ceremony-
We have some discs left over due to the amount of people dropping. These discs will be for sale during break and after the second round. These are premium discs and they are custom stamped. Hats and pins will be for sale as well.

Awards ceremony will start right after the scores are confirmed for both rounds. Any players tied for 1st-3rd place will play off in a sudden death playoff starting on hole 1.
