Hello Everyone!!

We hope you are having a great week! I am going to send out 2 emails for this Sunday the 28th Stop just to make sure everyone is up to date on things. As most of you know, Ultra and Lower Badlands have both unexpectedly pulled baskets due to irrigation projects that are needed for the longevity of both courses. Unfortunately that meant that we have had to change course for our last three stops of the 2023/24 Winter Series.

To ensure this is a clear message: Stop "5" Is This Sunday the 28th at Griffin Greens also known as Wellington Disc Golf Course.

Check in runs from 8:15am-8:45am: All Players must Check in with us. We will be at a table near the parking lot, or perhaps out the back of my 4Runner, just look for me somewhere near the front area. Amateur players, your player pack will include a choice of Premium plastic disc, We will have some Discmania Signature Series discs available for player pack upgrade for $5 additional via cash, venmo or paypal.

Ace Pool: Stop 3 ace pool was not hit and currently we have 30 people paid in which means the ace pot is $178, if this does not get hit it will move to stop #"4" Sunday February 4th!

I have attached the layout details we will play to this email. NOTE we are skipping what is regular Hole 16 at Griffin Greens: Large water carry and overlapping fairway is the reason. Also worth noting, this is a Winter Series, and is meant to keep up the fun and condition us for the season ahead, and therefore that is why the OB is less tight than would normally be used out here.

At this point many of you have seen that irrigation/draining issues are following the winter series this year. I am working on where our final three stops will be now that Lower is going to be out of commission for Months. I hope to have this situated by Monday evening. Thanks for holding in there with us! All these projects for both courses is for the better long term use of them and we will support Lower and Ultra every step of the way!
