Volunteers needed!!! May 7th at 230 pm and May 14th at 230 pm we are having work days at Burchfield to help the park expedite the process. On the 7th we'll be putting in directional arrows and hopefully some tees signs... amongst other manual labor type of tasks. This day would be a great opportunity for those to come out and see the course and get a feel for it before they throw.
On the 14th we'll be putting in the baskets and maybe a few other finishing touches. Then it's game on!
So please come help. The parks already done so much, lets show them our appreciation!

A note to all players... due to saftey concerns and course flow... a few holes have changed. They are... 4,5, 11 (added OB rope to shield 12s fairway), 12 (same OB rope from 11), 13, 15 and 16. So, if you've played a practice round, you may want to check these holes out before tee-time so you're not surprised when you get there.

Yes. we're changing a few holes up to make the course flow safely. The plan is to also move 15's basket to the short pin, which measures 328, but it's also surrounded by 3 bunkers that are OB. I als ... show more ›

Yes. we're changing a few holes up to make the course flow safely. The plan is to also move 15's basket to the short pin, which measures 328, but it's also surrounded by 3 bunkers that are OB. I also roped of 12's fairway to help prevent people from throwing that route off 11's tee... and we also why we switched to the long pad on 12, to better protect the players.
A couple other minor changes may take place, especially around 4's basket and 5's tee.

Wow! I wasn't expecting that when I went there to play today. This course is absolutely amazing! This is nothing short of world class, and when you realize the amount of heavy work, tree planting and excavating that went into it's landscaping you will be in awe. Unbelieveable, very well defined sandtraps, flowerbeds, mandmade obsticles, fences to stop rollers, elevation, 2 sets of pads and pins, WTF? I have only two complaints, the first one is very small the second is HUGE! First of all some of the fairways are close together which could be dangerous but could also be more challenging if it had OB ropes seperating them. Second and last but not least complaint is that it's too far from my house. Thanks guys for this gem. Oh and also the greens that are both depressed bowls that will grab your discs like velcro, and the mounds that will make your shit roll away are an awesome touch.
