Thanks to everyone that made this my first sold out event at Goldenrod. Congrats to Dave Miller for winning the Chainstar Lite for the sell out.

There were lots of closely contended divisions on the day and congratulations to the winners!

In 2 weeks we have The Vernal Inferno at Holly Woods. We will be awarded 6 berths to the Michigan Amateur State Championships.

I would like to thank everyone for registering! This is the 1st time that I have sold out this venue in my 18 years of running events! In celebration, I will be giving away a Chain Star Lite for free at the event in a fashion TBA.

We are playing 2 rounds of 18 holes at the Goldenrod Disc Golf Course. All divisions will be playing from the concrete tee pads. There is rain expected through the morning hours and the old rubber teepads can be slippery when wet. I would like all players to have the same good footing on the concrete teepads.

The Goldenrod Facility is free to enter and has no pay to play. It is an alcohol-free facility, and you should expect the rangers to patrol through the parking lot several times throughout the day. There is not running water at the course nor a bathroom building. There are several port-a-potties that the County Park maintains. I always put on my event application that I want in the park at 7:30am. Sometimes they open the gate on time and, sometimes it is later.

We are having a 45-minute lunch starting at the finish of the last card. I am not providing any lunch or drinks. The closest location for lunch is Baby Jake’s Pizza. Their number is (810) 412-5444, I would recommend calling and ordering before you round if over. The next closest is most likely the McDonald’s in Genesee. There are not many other nearby places that you can get back in 45 minutes so I would recommend bringing your lunch.

Just as a reminder, there is a new PDGA that ALL players must keep a scorecard, either physical or digital. I would ask that you all use the digital version and as such all players using a digital scorecard will be entered into a drawing for a MDGO LE Disc of their choice. PDGA Live Scoring will be provided on site.

The OB for the course is printed on the back side of the scorecards and it is listed in the digital scorecard as well. I have uploaded it as a photo here on the event page as well. I want to stress, this is the OB for this event. It does not matter how it may have been played at other events or how it is typically played. Use this list as your official guide of what is OB at this course and if I missed something, in error or on purpose, then it is not OB for this event.

Divisional & 50/50 CTPs are included with your entry fee. Ace Pool and 50/50 are $5 each. If you did not get in, you may pay that in the morning. I will have a list of what you paid for if you do not remember.
