Course update...

The park has been cutting along the waterline and there are several large bundles of branches on holes 1 and 2. We're going to play them as casual relief. If you land inside one of those piles, you can either climb in there and shoot OR take casual relief behind the obstacle. If you're in a very small bundle and feel you can can move them and shoot within 30 seconds go ahead and move them. Please dont move the bundles within 60' of the baskets.

Hole 1 long tee box is buried under brush also so everyone will shoot from the short tee box on both rounds.

HOLE 9 - There is a large body of casual water between the tee and basket on hole 9. If you land in the water you can either shoot from your lie or from the first available relief directly behind and in line with the basket and your lie. No penalty stroke.

Online player meeting and hole assignments will be posted Saturday night before 8pm. Its mostly everything in the "about" section.

The ace pool was not hit so we are donating the $90 to Disc Golf For A Cause!
The $45 50/50 CTP was won by Chris Hall
The club CTP was won by Brandon Redmond

The Salt n Shovel series rolls on in to Stony Creek in 2 weeks when we go ‘Round the Outside with event #10/11 of the series. This will be a one round doubles points event.

There are a few things I want to mention here though.

When you arrive.
Please check in and let us know when you are here.
Sign into the PDGA scoring app or website or grab a scorecard
Access code is "BOH"

Online registration will close at midnight and the starting holes will be posted Sunday morning.
Be sure to double-check them before you tee off.

Check in from 8 until 8:45
Tee off is at 9am

Everyone is playing the same tees except all Pro's ans MA1 players play long tees on holes 3, 8 & 15.

The brush piles!
Holes 1 & 2: The city has been clearing brush along the shoreline of holes 1 & 2. They have left large bundles of brush on the fairways and near the baskets. The long tee box for hole 1 is buried under brush so we will use the short tee box both rounds. Please don't move the large bundles if you land in one. Either shoot from your lie or take the first available relief directly behind and in line with the basket. No penalty stroke.

Hole 8: There is a Chainstar basket on the right side of the fairway that we are not using. Players get a 2 meter relief from the basket.

Hole 9: has a large body of casual water. If you land in the water, either shoot from your lie or from the first available spot behind your lie and directly in line with the basket. No penalty stroke.

Hole 11: The Mando is NOT in play today.

Hole 13: has two baskets. Pros and MA1 play to the basket on the right, all others play to the basket on the left. Its on the digital scorecard.

Hole 17: Players get 2 meter relief from the Chaistar basket were not using.

Use your provisionals and group decisions.

We’re moving the event to Sunday Feb 4.

For several obvious reasons we’ve decided to move the event a couple weeks to Sunday Feb 4. We want to provide a safe and quality event for all. We feel the best way to do that is to change the date.

Everyone on the current registration list is entitled to a 100% refund if you can’t make the new date. If you already canceled we can work something out too as far as your refund and or signing back up.

FYI There are no NFL playoffs that day and actually no disc golf tournaments on the schedule either.
