Thanks again to everyone who made it out. Great weather and awesome to have such a large turn out at an event in a time where it is so difficult to put something like that together let alone accept 20 entries the morning of. As many of you know I have been very busy this week already not only participating in but sponsoring events for other clubs and groups. If you did not see the tournament board and results, I will have them posted late tonight after returning from Marion so be sure to check first thing in the morning. I have already spoken to Scott Brent and a couple other of the winners but if you did not know all the prizes are personalized custom Bandito fest items, everyone who attended will be contacted and Asked for their mailing address so we can send out A little swag bag. Keep in mind this was a $15 entry and even though the current pandemic prohibited us from having the festival like event we planned, we could not be happier With the turnout and great Disc Golf we witnessed and look forward to seeing everyone again soon. LONG DRIVE AND LONG PUTT CHALLENGES WILL TAKE PLACE BETWEEN ROUNDS AND CLOSE DECLARING WINNERS 1 HOUR AFTER THE LAST CARD FOR ROUND 2 IS IN *

All Participants will have access to a shared spreadsheet showing updated scores as they come in. Winners will be notified Sunday Night and will need to respond with requested information needed for ordering the personalized custom Belts and discs. CTPs can be picked up post tournament, delivered, or other arrangements. The goal is to get your 2 rounds in and have the option to leave the course upon completion.

Due to current Course conditions it is in the best interest of safety and preservation that we postpone tomorrow’s event. Those who would like to withdrawal will be refunded upon request. Those staying registered will be consulted before a new date in the very near future is chosen. Should the new date still be during a period of pandemic restrictions, we will operate under the same carefully developed format well within the restriction guidelines and approval by our local officials. Please understand that this decision is an easy one based on the current flooding and I no way has been influenced by critics or those against the original event. We will continue to follow and monitor the pandemic in what is an absolutely strange time in the world, but in no way am I going to tell you to not do what you enjoy. If what you enjoy is Disc Golf the goal will continue to be providing our local community and guests with a place to exercise that joy. Even if it’s throwing a round, turning in scores virtually, and receiving prizes via mail or delivery avoiding all human contact.... The Goal will remain to Grow the Sport and strengthen the community with respect to both. While on your local course or anywhere else please remember to follow suggested safety precautions and protect yourself and others. Without a doubt this delay will benefit all participants with a better play experience, safety, and even more rewarding to be apart of. I personally want to thank all our awesome sponsors and supporters for staying with us and trusting the time and work put in with local and community officials to provide a safe way to go about this. I would ask that you don’t engage in the argument or judgment of others, it’s not worth it and nobody wins. Bandito Disc Golf voluntarily took on a tough task and I’ve only tried to do what’s best for community and Sport since then, So Keep throwing and respecting others and I’ll see ya soon (Elbow Bumps Only).
