Check in tomorrow morning will be at the table near the cabin by hole number 1 and is required. Check in will start at 9am and we will have a players meeting at 9:40 and first round start at 10am.
Water and Powerade will be on hole 1 and hole 10. Special Shoutout to Atlantic Bottling Company for supplying those!
Amateurs will receive a T-Shirt or Towel, Mini and Disc for the Players Pack
Second round will start 1 hr after the final card is completed. I will post on the FB page an official start time and it will also be on the pdga page once the second round hole assignments are up.
Round 1 hole assignments -
Live Scoring - at least one person from each card must keep live score on
www.pdga.com/score. Code is LLC if you have two players keep score it will not allow you to put the wrong score. Please make sure anybody that keeps score SUBMITS the score card after the round!

If no aces are hit during either round then we will do a throw off for 50% of the ace pot. The remaining 50% will go towards the course fund for Deer Valley in Spirit Lake Iowa.

All Three rounds will be in the B pins (Minus Hole 1 in a temp for all 3 rounds, hole 12 in a temp for all 3 rounds and hole 18 in the A pin)
Hole 11: Everyone, every round will play from the Am pad!
Hole 12: Divisions will play the pad as listed below. Note there is a temporary pin we are playing to! It’s the only basket you’ll see.
MPO, MP40 and MA1 will play Pro Pads all Three Rounds (with the exception of hole 11)
MA2 and Age protected Advanced Divisions - Am Pads both Rounds on Saturday and then Pro Pads on Sunday
MA3, MA4, Womens and Junior Divisions - Am Pads all Three Rounds
OB Rules: Paint is what defines the line (with the rain we’ve received, if the paint line is faded please use group to decide if safe or not.

5. Roads/Gravel are all hazards, putt from where your disc is with a one stroke penalty
6. Tall Grass OB, Basketball Court OB, Road/Gravel are all hazard minus passed the A pin location in which on or over the road is OB (marked with flags and paint) if you happen to land on a hazard road play from where your disc is with a one stroke penalty. OB area separates first fairway and green (OB starts at the flagged area just before the road and everything until safe on the basket side is OB.
7. Plays as an island, must land over the tall grass and short of the road. If island is missed, dropzone is short pad. From short pad, all tall grass LEFT is OB, on or over road/gravel is OB.
8. Must pass between the two Mando trees close to the tee pad and to the right of the mando tree just over the road. Drop zone is next to the Mando tree that you missed. All roads/gravel play as a hazard, putt/throw from where you land with a 1 stroke penalty. Sand Volleyball Court OB, OB Line is outside edge of the poles.

18. Must cross to the left of the marked mando tree. If missed drop zone is next to the tree. Initial road plays as a river play from last in bounds, on or over road to the right is OB.
If you are a newer player here are a few things you might want to know more about.

2. 3 minute rule, if the entire card is looking for a disc for 3 minutes the disc is declared lost and you must either throw from where it went OB if there is OB or you must throw from your previous lie with a 1 stroke penalty.
3. During tournament rounds there is no practice allowed, even if there is a backup you can’t practice by throwing or putting.
4. If you are late to your tee time and you miss holes, you will take a par +4 on each hole that you miss. You cannot play the holes later or try and play them to catch up to your card.
5. There must be a minimum of 3 players on your card. If enough players don’t show up to make 3 then you need to split and go to a different card.
6. Mini or marker, you can’t pick up your disc to throw the same disc without using a mini. The other option would be to throw a different disc and leave your previously thrown disc where is landed and throw behind it.
7. Provisional - a provisional is a throw that is used when you don’t know something for sure. For example on an Island hole, if your disc is close to being in bounds but you can’t tell from the tee, you can call a provisional and throw again in order to save you time from potentially walking back to the tee if you get to the island and your disc is out of bounds. Another example would be if you and your card mates can’t agree on if your inbound on a certain shot, you can play a provisional and play it both ways then come to the tournament director after the round to discuss with your card.
8. Payouts, if you are playing amateur, after the final round of the tournament is done we will calculate the winnings which normally takes 15-20 minutes and then we will announce all of the individuals that earned a payout for each division, if you are in the top 40% of your division you will more than likely receive some sort of merchandise credit to be used that day on Discs, Sunglasses, Apparel, etc..
