COURSE UPDATE:
There is a PDGA Approved drop zone on Hole 3 for lost drives only. Do not go right!
There is a PDGA Approved drop zone on Hole 9 for lost drives only. Do not go left!
There is no OB on the course although all park roads and parking lots, on or over, are OB.
We are not using any of the short tees including hole 17.
There will be tee signs placed near all of the tee pads that are in play.
There are white 10 meter dashes painted around all of the baskets. These are for reference only. All decisions should be made by the card and agreed upon if there are any concerns.
All Banners, picnic tables, and tents on the course are part of the course.

TOURNAMENT RULES:
• This is a PDGA AMATEUR MAJOR event. All PDGA rules will be followed.
• This Event will be a True Amateur event. Competitors will receive more than their entry fee in players pack and additional event value. Payout will be TROPHY ONLY.
• Smoking off the premises on holes 3, 8, 13, 16 is allowed.
• Out Of Bounds:
o All park roads on or over are out of bounds.
o All parking lots on or over are out of bounds.
• There is a PDGA approved Drop Zone on Hole 3 for lost drives only, lost disc:
o For a Tee throw that is lost, the player must proceed to the provided Lost Disc Drop Zone with a penalty throw, a re-tee is not an option as the Abandoned Throw rule is suspended for Tee throws on this hole.
o For all subsequent throws that are lost, the player has the choice of either the Lost Disc Drop Zone or their previous lie, both with a penalty throw.
• Playoff Format:
o Only first place ties will be played off.
o Use holes 1, 17, and 18 is the traditional loop.
o Repeat until decided.
o A coin toss is used to determine order and then flipping tee shots
o All non-1st place ties for the remaining trophies will feature any related disc golf skill event determined by the Tournament Director. This is only for the trophies. The tied scores will be input as official tied scores.

Players getting in off of the waitlist: Most of the staff does not live within 45 minutes of the park. Due to the construction along the closest highway, some of us will be staying at the host hotel. We will also be finalizing the course preparation for the event in the week leading into the competition. As a result, the computers we use to finalize all the printing material will not readily available to us. We will make every effort to transition players in and out of the event as smooth as possible while being sensitive to last minute travel and lodging plans and expenses as long as possible.

Here is a typical day competing for the USADGC:

Staff begins to arrive at the park around 6:30 am
1st Tee off is at 7:30 am on Friday and Saturday
1st Tee off is at 7:00 am on Sunday
Tee times in between groups are at 12 minute intervals, weather pending
There are 3 practice baskets near the 1st tee
There is a field where players can warm up longer throws
There will be an assortment of fresh fruits and snacks, coffee and water in the pavilion daily for the players and their caddies
Players are requested to check-in near the practice baskets 30 minutes prior to their posted daily tee times
Players will be sent to Hole 1 15 minutes before your posted daily tee times and check-in with our Tournament Starters
There will be an assortment of candies and water throughout the course under the pop-up tents for the players and their caddies
These will be restocked throughout the competition
We are working on a map and will post it in the Pictures tab above showing the course and pop-up tent locations
There will be water at the course Thursday for the players and caddies
When your rounds are finished you will be greeted at hole 18 by our Tournament Scorers
Following your rounds, you may go to the pavilion where you will be fed daily by Holden's (It is always great food and is part of the event)
If a player's caddie or partner would like to eat, the cost is $5 a day
Last tee times on Friday and Saturday should be around 2:54 pm, weather pending
Last Tee times on Sunday should be around 2:24 pm, weather pending
Rounds roughly take 3 - 3 1/2 hours. Depending on start times and weather, we expect to finish between 6:00 - 6:30 pm
Sunday awards immediately follow the last card barring any ties.
Following the last card daily, players may go back out on the course to practice if they so desire.

Course update: Some of the new sleeves are not in the ground yet. The grass is getting its final rough cut this weekend and the final cut next week during the warm-up so it is clean for the first day of competition on Friday. The last of the poles and baskets will be put in late this weekend and will be ready for Monday's opening. Thank you for being patient. The new holes are adding a lot of length to the course.
