UPDATED Full Tee Conditions and Out of Bounds

Hole 1: Tee from the natural area marked by flags OR the paved section directly behind the flags. Out of bounds:
on or over the paved path behind the basket. Drainage rocks near basket are in bounds, players may take casual
relief.
Hole 2: Tee from the flags. NO MANDATORY like there has been in years past. Throwing over the beach is an
option. Out of bounds: Surrounded by water.
Beach Shot: Tee from the flags. Out of bounds: Surrounded by water.
Hole 3: No out of bounds
Hole 4: No out of bounds. No penalty drop zone marked by flags. Available to use as an optional free drop ONLY if
your disc lands in the pond that has formed in the bowl left of the basket.
Hole 5: No out of bounds
Hole 6: No out of bounds
Hole 7: No out of bounds
Hole 8: No out of bounds
Hole 9: Out of bounds: On apartment parking lot to the right.
Hole 10: Out of bounds: On apartment patios to the right.
Hole 11: Out of bounds: On or over the road to the right, on or over the sidewalk deep of the basket. No penalty
drop zone marked by flags/ paint. Players may use the drop zone without penalty if any part of their disc lands in
the painted area surrounding the construction vehicles.
Hole 12: No out of bounds
Hole 13: No out of bounds
Hole 14: No out of bounds. MANDATORY: Left of the first tree to the right of the tee pad. Missed mando will retee
with penalty.
Hole 15: Out of bounds: On or over sidewalk deep of the basket.
Hole 16: Out of bounds: On or over sidewalk to the right of the tee pad.
Hole 17: No out of bounds
Hole A: Tee from the pad or to the left or right, marked by flags. Out of bounds: On or over the road or sidewalk
deep of the basket.
Hole B: Tee from the pad or directly behind it. Out of bounds: On or over the road to the right of the teepad/
fairway and in the playground.
Hole 18: Out of bounds: On or over the parking lot.

Hello Cleveland Roc Participants! We are very much looking forward to seeing everyone in just under a couple weeks for what promises to be a fantastic event. As a reminder, this event will be two rounds of 21 holes, the regular 18 holes plus A and B and a temporary hole set up between 2 and 3 that throws from top of the hill down to the corner of the beach.

In general, OB is surrounded by water (rare but it happens) and on or over the sidewalk/ road. I will post a more detailed OB list soon. We will throw over the beach on hole 2 both rounds. Hole 2's fairway is in rough shape and the massive anhyzer shot brings the beach long into play more than I'm comfortable. There will be no OB between holes 12 and 15 this year. The only other rule that might not be apparent is a Mando to the left of the first tree off the tee on 14. This prevents players from throwing into 13's fairway.

With a bunch of rain already and more to come, unfortunately I’m going to cancel the scheduled work day at Sims Park. We will not meet today, 9/4, at 1pm.

One of my big goals for the day was to clear around the stump and before the basket on Hole 8. If anyone is inspired, feel free to chip away at it. I’ll likely do some work before/ after league tomorrow

I'll be hosting a work day on Sunday, September 4th at 1:00pm for anyone who is interested in helping us clean the course up and earn some sweet course karma. The course is in solid shape but it can use a little trimming here and there. Bring any tools you may have (non gas powered) and your discs. If we have a decent turnout I'm happy to run a quick round of random draw doubles. I'm more than happy to stick around and throw either way. We'll meet by 18's basket.
