Evening, everyone. A quick recap of the high points of the players' meeting.

The divisions that are playing the pro layout are: MPO, MP40, MP65, and MA1

The divisions that are playing the am layout are: FPO, FA1, FA2, FA3, FJ15, MA2, MA3, MA4, MA40, MA50, MA55, MJ15, MJ18

The tee time for everyone is 9 am!

Be there by about 8:30 to be comfortably ready to go.

Good morning, everyone! Just a few quick bits of news on this grey Tuesday.

Event Discs

As a few of you may have already heard, we are going to have extra event discs to sell. This will commence on Friday morning at 10 am at Melville Regional Park. I know that interest in these discs has been pretty high, especially for certain molds. I also know that many of you might not be able to make it out for 10 am on a weekday, even before a big event. I don't know if there's a perfect solution to this, but I'm willing to try, at the very least. For Friday, I'm going to impose a one disc per person limit so that people who can't make it in until Saturday will have a chance to buy some sweet plastic. As of Saturday morning, they'll sell until they're gone. I hope this solution works for most people. Discs will be either $25 or $30, and I will be accepting cash and e-transfers on site.

Melville Park Usage

Many of you will have noticed, when you registered, that there was a line for a Melville Course Improvement donation of $5. Many of you were awesome and checked that box. The men who maintain the course, particularly the back nine, are absolute gems. They don't actually have to cut the grass back there, but they do, and it's beautiful. If you have some spare change, consider donating to the fund that helps them to maintain our beautiful course. We've been fortunate in the fact that the park has not asked for the usual daily fee associated with park use, so help us to give back to those who have given us so much. :-)

Players' Meeting

The Players' Meeting is still scheduled for Friday night at 7:30 pm. I will be posting a link via this comment section for you to join. If you can't join the meeting, there WILL be a summary of the salient points that I will post after the meeting is over, so don't fear.

Saturday BBQ

After the rounds are done on Saturday, we're going to host a barbecue at Tournament Central in Melville. Feel free to bring anyone you'd like! $5 will get you a hot dog and a drink, we'll have a 50/50 going, maybe some tunes, and there will be a couple of mini games! And one of the mini games will feature a chance to win an Innova Traveler basket, so that doesn't hurt at all. Take the chance to relax and hang out with all of your friends (old and new!) from around the province and beyond!

Happy you asked that, Tyler. :-) The baskets have been ordered for Melville, thanks to some fantastic work by a bunch of people, including Paul Levasseur, myself, Jeri-Ann Brownbridge, the City of Melville's Kristin Renkas, Melville Regional Park's Tyrone Mogenson, Todd Schick, and others. As soon as I get a heads-up about their imminent arrival, I will definitely be letting people know. My assumption is that they will be here at least a few weeks ahead of the event, and then installed. BUT, as I said - I don't have a time frame for that arrival yet. Thanks for checking in!
