Thanks, Erin—your dream tournament flourishes! Thanks, Matt and Keith, for coordinating and overseeing this special event. Thanks to everyone on the support side: sponsors and donators, spotters, caddies, food bringers, schleppers of merch, players, the DNR crew, and anyone else who had a hand in making this one of the most successful all-women tournaments on this continent. Ok just a few reminders for the weekend I am sending out tonight because by tomorrow night I will have gone crazy :)

If you are not a current PDGA member, PLEASE remember to bring an extra $10 as you will be asked to pay that at check-in Saturday morning. Also, bring extra cash for the Ace Pool ($2) and 50/50 CTP ($3) if you want in those. AND there is always the awesome prizes in the Breast Cancer Raffle, so bring money for that too!

If you did not sign up by May 1st, or notate your shirt size when you signed up, you are not guaranteed your shirt size. I ordered them on May 2nd according to the shirt sizes requested. I also ordered extra, however they are limited in each size so if you want your size, check in early!

Check in starts at 8am.

1.3 Withdraws and Refunds

A player may officially withdraw only by contacting the Tournament Director.

Players must email or phone their withdrawals to the Tournament Director only at the contact information posted.

Discussions with persons other than the Tournament Director, including other tournament staff, shall not be considered official.

No refunds will be issued after the 7th day prior to the start of the event, but the player shall be sent a player’s package if one was provided to event competitors.

Withdrawals made before the 7th day prior to the start of the event shall receive a 50% refund.

Withdrawals made 14 days prior to the start of the event shall be refunded 100 %, less postage and handling, which shall not exceed 10% of the entry fee.

These criteria may be relaxed at the discretion of the Tournament Director.

The above rules were taken from the PDGA Competition Manual. I will offer only 1/2 refunds the rest of the week if you can not make it. You must call me or private message me from your own account, or email me, if you must drop out. Thank you.

A few things...First I have a few things you should bring if you are traveling:
Bug Spray, Sunscreen, Bathing Suit if you want to check out the beach, long socks. There is a lot of long grass, and some poison ivy.
Next, the alternate holes will be marked tomorrow evening. Hole 18 will be split in half to creat 2 holes. The other 5 alternates will be near the parking lot. They will have spraypainted spots. I can not mark with flags until Friday so the park can mow. If you have questions about them, message me and I can try to explain where to find them.
Hole 9 will have a shortened basket near the bush at the front of the isthmus.

I will announce this at the players meeting and it will be in the guide, but, in your players packs (which are super awesome this year) there will be a raffle ticket. Do not lose your ticket! The raffle will be after the skins match and before awards on Sunday. You MUST be present to win this year. There will be some SUPER artwork by Kylie Ferguson for the grand prize among some beautiful jewelry by Leslie Charles, and MORE! :)

On another note, the alternate holes are still under construction. I'm hoping to have all 6 in the front area near tournament central, I'm just still waiting for approval for the holes I laid out. Hole 9 will be in the shorter position like last year.

There is only ONE spot left for DGGW! If someone who plays Intermediate snags the spot, your entry fee is PAID for by a sponsor. I'm not sure if they are anonymous yet or not, but I had someone tell me this morning they wanted to pay forward a karma deal and pay for the next Intermediate player entry to sign up. They also wanted to pay for the next Rec player to sign up so the last Rec player who signed up will get a refund. Congrats to Abby Acker for that one! Now go tell your Intermediate friends to grab that last spot! :) Happy Mother's Day to all you moms!
