TOMORROW 5/4 is the 10th Annual St. Jude Disc Golf Klassic at Litz Park in Jackson! Please read this entire message, and let me know if you have any questions.
First off, huge thanks to Mike Renick and the rest of the team at River Radio, SEMO Disc Golf, Jeff Hendrix, Drew Wright, Bill Funkhouser and all of those who have volunteered their time and expertise. I also want to thank our hole sponsors for their support.
I also need to thank Neptune Discs for sponsoring this event.
We will be using UDisc Live Scoring for this event. I have set up each round as a League Event for SEMO Disc Golf. Please ONLY check into Round 1 to begin the day. We will be using Round 2 A/B/C flights as well.
As far as starting holes, please find your team on the big, red board at Tournament Central tomorrow morning. If you paid for a guaranteed hole to begin the tournament that should be reflected, but please double-check. You'll need to coordinate with the other teams on your card to decide who will create the scorecard. Chances are, at least one person on every card will be familiar with this process.
Check-in will begin at 7:00 am. Brief player meeting at 8:30, then shotgun start at 9am. Second round start times will be announced and posted following the completion of round one. There will be a one hour break for lunch between rounds.
There is some barbed wire on the course, please be mindful. We will play 2 meter relief from barbed wire.
As far as course etiquette, please do not enter backyards. Please be mindful of the surrounding neighborhoods. Please be respectful and polite to any curious onlookers. Please try not to disturb or throw over the pickleball players.
FOODLunch will be provided by Food Giant, and soda and water will also be available.
RAFFLES/CTPsThere will be several raffle items. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase at check-in and throughout the day. There will also be a 50/50 Raffle run by River Radio.Cash is preferred, but we'll also accept PayPal. There will also be some CTPs, as well as an Ace Pool. If you didn't buy into the Ace Pool at registration you can buy in tomorrow for $5.
