Doomsday Disc Golf Series is a grass roots jump into tournament play. Non sanctioned and focusing on learning tournament play while still maintaining the fun!
Where applicable, all local rules to courses apply. No exceptions.
Late Registration and division changes are not accepted after the registration closes. This is one of the few things we dislike, but it's necessary. We have to prepare the event, player cards, payouts, etc before we leave home, which is usually a couple days before an event. Once those things are done and we are on the road, it's not always possible to change things easily.
Tournament fees: $30 entry. $5 goes directly to the host club. $2 goes to CTPs, $1 goes to running ACEPOT. $5 TD fee to cover travel costs. $17 back in CASH to the players. (as well as CTPs and Acepots of course) ALL DIVISIONS (pro and am) are paid out in CASH. This is unsanctioned so it does not effect your pdga player status. Juniors do not pay TD Fee or Host fee.
Where applicable, Pro, MA40, MA1 all play long pads. All other fields play short. (Naked Acres - we all play the same)
Divisions will be collapsed to the next higher category if there are not at least 3 players. Exception to junior divisions.
NO DOGS ALLOWED ON THE COURSE DURING EVENT. PLEASE NOTE PARK/COURSE RULES ON DOGS AS WELL.
Points are earned at each event for a season end series trophy. Best 3 out of 5 events count towards series points. Doomsday finale points are awared on top of those points and worth 1.5x regular points to determine our series winners.
