3000 Minimum added cash, Total added cash is still growing.
This is a 3 round tournament, with 1 round of tee times being held each day. Friday-Sunday.
Practice rounds available Wednesday and Thursday, times are TBD (Players must pay fee $15 directly to the clubhouse)
This will also be the 4th stop on the Kinston NC Disc Golf Point Series. (This event is a 2x point multiplier)
This will be the 6th annual Kinston Open and first ever A-tier presented by Scorpion Disc Golf held at the Kinston Country Club. We are over the top excited about this opportunity and hope this event continues to grow and go on for years to come.
This event will be a temp course on the ball golf course at the Kinston Country Club. It will be a three day, three round event with tee times running from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm each day. Currently we are planning for the course to be open for practice rounds on Wednesday and Thursday. Practice rounds will be pay to play starting on Wednesday. (times are TBD).
Layout assignments are:
Gold layout - MPO, MP40, MP50 and MA1. (roughly 9886 ft, par 66)
Blue layout - FPO, MA2, MA40, MA50, MA60, MA3 (roughly 8965 ft, par 67)
Red Layout -FA1 & FA3 (roughly 6134 ft par 66)
We are asking all players to please wear collared shirts or dry fits for the event. We would like to represent the sport as professional as possible since this event will be held at a private club.
Each group will be provided golf carts and a map of the course 10 minutes before their tee time. Carts will have to be shared (2 players to each cart) and cart fees are included in the entry fees. Carts are reserved for players only, spectators and caddies who want to follow a group will have to walk. No exceptions
Am's will receive a players pack of 75$ value which will include a custom tournament jersey and more Players packs must be ordered by June 17th in order to get them in time for the event, players who do not sign up prior to this date will not receive an event shirt. Full payout will be provided via vouchers to the Scorpion Disc Golf Store on-site for ams. Pro's will be paid out via PayPal. There will also be trophies for the top finishers.
The clubhouse and swimming pool at the Country Club will also be open to players and their spouses for lunch and dinner both days.
