About this tournament

Time sure does fly!!! It has already been 2 years since the grand opening of the Pine 9 and Ravine 18 at the inaugural event in 2023! Over the last 2 years there have been over 4,500 recorded rounds between the two courses, and many more that were not logged into UDisc. 2024 saw about 500 more plays than the first year in 2023 and we hope that this trend will continue in 2025.

This year Raystown Area Discgolf (RAD), in partnership with the Friends of Raystown Lake and the Huntingdon County Visitors Bureau, present the 3rd Annual Raystown Open!

Because of the positive reviews received last year, RAD has decided to once again offer the Susquehannock Temp Course! Susquehannock Temp is a RAD designed course that runs through Susquehannock Campground. The campground is located near Seven Points Recreation Area and is on one of Raystown Lake's peninsulas. This course is technical, with tons of lake views and certainly some water hazards. The course uses the beautifully re-done tiered campsites throughout the campground to make for some challenging greens and unique holes.

Since we have been unveiling something new each of the first 2 years, we figured why not do it again! This year for the first time ever RAD will be running 2 different C-Tier Tournaments as part of the umbrella that is the Raystown Open, one C-Tier will take place on the Ravine 18 on Saturday, April 26th and the other C-Tier will take place on Susquehannock Temp on Sunday, April 27th.

-If you would like to participate in the "Raystown Open - Ravine 18" C-Tier on Saturday, April 26th, register for $20 at dgscene.com/Ravine18. There will be an option in that registration to receive either a $20 or $40 off discount code for registration here depending on if you play one or both C-Tier tournaments.
-If you would like to participate in the "Raystown Open - Susquehannock Temp" C-Tier on Sunday, April 27th, register for $20 at dgscene.com/Sustemp. There will be an option in that registration to receive either a $20 or $40 off discount code for registration here depending on if you play one or both C-Tier tournaments.

Raystown Lake and the Seven Points Recreation Area has so many opportunities to explore! Whether you like camping, hiking, biking, disc golf, swimming, fishing, or playing on the playground, there is something for everyone! That includes all of our participants' families, who may want to make this a full weekend event.

We want our participants to have the opportunity to truly mold their weekend with us and friends in whatever way they desire.

This year the cost to attend the Raystown Open will be $40 just like the past two years, and this fee will get you a player pack, access to Pine 9 glow golf, and the option to play in casual tee time Udisc scored rounds on both Saturday, April 26th, and Sunday, April 27th. On Saturday, the two courses available for play are the Pine 9 (MA4 and FA4), and the Susquehannock Temp (all divisions). On Sunday, all divisions can play the Ravine 18 or free play the Pine 9.

Beginning on Friday, April 25th, camping check in will begin. The Pine 9, Ravine 18 and Susquehannock Temp courses will be open for free play and exploration. Disc golf vendors will be set up near Pine Shelter, and a drop in glow golf round will be available for play on the Pine 9 as the sun sets (scores kept on Udisc).

Saturday, April 26th is tournament day 1! Single round NON Sanctioned tee time tournaments will take place on Pine 9 and Susquehannock Temp and the SANCTIONED Raystown Open - Ravine 18 C-Tier will take place between 800AM and 6PM. Merchandise, food, and coffee vendors will be available.

Sunday, April 27th is tournament day 2! To close out the weekend the Pine 9 will be available for free play, and a NON Sanctioned tee time tournament will take place on the Ravine 18 while the SANCTIONED Raystown Open - Susquehannock Temp C-Tier will be played at Susquehannock Temp course (available only 1 weekend a year). These tournament rounds are available to all registrants from all divisions. The tee time tournaments will take place between 8:00AM and 6:00PM.

Checkout and cleanup of your campsite is expected by 4PM or after you finish your tournament round. Please leave your campsite in the condition you found it.
