****** Reminder regarding Richard Lehnus' Memorial ******
The memorial for Rick is THIS SATURDAY at 9:30 (I would show up at 9 as the services are at "Rick's hole" and it takes a couple of minutes to walk down to it). It is being held at the Ranch disc golf course which is in the same parking lot as the softball fields on the corner of N. McCarran and N. Virginia. Park in the back of the parking ...lot where you'd park for the Basque monument.
Afterward, there is a BBQ/get together at Whitaker park on the corners of Washington and University at approximately 10:30.
We are still asking if anyone is willing to bring anything (as this is very much a pot-luck kind of a thing). We need: hamburger patties, charcoal, paper plates & napkins, plastic ware, plastic drinking cups for beer kegs, sodas and/or juice for kids, cut tomatoes & lettuce for hamburgers, and condiments.
Bringing something is NOT mandatory, but it does take some of the pressure off of those who are planning this event. We are expecting up to 100 people (which is all the City will allow in renting the park).
We will also be taking donations for Ricks obituary... again not mandatory, but it helps.
If you can bring something, please let me know ASAP, otherwise we'll see you there. This is for Rick, his family and friends, so please come with your favorite story about Rick and share with us!
