Grant Harris 49 - Regular tees, 18 holes "After the tournament, I played here. New PR at -5. No bogeys. No lowlights but I wish some drives were be closer to the basket, but no drives caused me to fight for the three. Parked jobs on holes 5, 8, 15, and 18. Very nice putt on hole 4. Out of the park jobs, hole 15 was the best throw and only my second birdie on holes 8 and 15. On hole 18, I had to get the birdie to get a new PR. Grant Harris 52 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Not a PR but a better round since it was raining and raining hard at times. I played in this whether because my brother wanted to. Highlights were my putts on hole 1, 2, 12, and my drives on holes 17, 3, and 8. Lowlights were my drives on holes 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 13, 16, my approahces on hole 14 and my putts on holes 8, 10, 14, and 18."Friday, August 16, 2019

Grant Harris 50 - Regular tees, 18 holes "I enjoyed this round with my little brother as I tied my PR. I lost my favorite putter and it took a little bit to my find my new favorite putter that was in my bag, but I then found it half way through the round. Good putts on hole 15, 9 and a sweet downhill putt on hole 2. Bad putts on hole 1, 18, 12, 5, and 6. The lowlight was my horrible low drive on hole 17. First birdie on hole 15. I played 1 and then 18 and then 10 to 17, 2 to 9. I started the round at 7:30 and played until it was close to dark. Because of that, I "tried" to play conservatively on hole 8 by throwing a straighter shot that would land on the left side of the long grass instead of swinging it wide. I then threw what I wanted and it went straight for a long time and then faded to the left behind the pin. THEN I GOT MY FIRST BIRDIE ON HOLE 8 EVER. holes where I have still never got a birdie are on hole 10, 11, and 14, which is a much cleaner list. I do not see myself birdieing holes 10 or 14 for a little while but I hope to birdie hole 11 soon."Saturday, August 10, 2019

Grant Harris 23 - Regular tees, 9 holes "New PR for the front nine at -4. Good putts were on holes 1, 2, 3, and the best one was on 6. Bad putts were on hole 9 and I was 35 feet from 8's basket for birdie. Bad drives occurred on holes 5 and 7. The best throws of the day were my putt on hole 6 and my drive on hole 4 as an easy birdie on hole 4 is rare."Thursday, July 25, 2019

Grant Harris 50 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Some bad putts on hole 18, 12, and 13. Far away putts that came to an inch to going in occurred on holes 15, 5, 6, and 9. This could have been -11. Holes with good birdie putts were 16 and 4. The best drive was on hole 2 as I threw forehand over the trees and parked it. I beat my friend for the very first time ever and I got a new PR at -4 and I was BOGEY-FREE."Saturday, May 4, 2019

Grant Harris 24 - Regular tees, 9 holes "I was very good with the driver, long range. Probably, the best. My group said it was enjoyable to watch my drive on hole three since it was gliding for a very long time. Also, I threw a straight bombing drive on hole 7. I threw it to the pin that was 305 feet away, but it hit a tree at the end so it would have gone farther. On hole 8, I threw a big hyzer, and it landed twenty feet from the basket. It stuck in the ground because of the big hyzer. Then I parked holes six and nine. I tied my PR for the front nine, but it felt like a new PR since I parked four holes. I made no good putts though and missed horribly on hole 8. I missed out on my first birdie on hole eight."Thursday, March 28, 2019

Grant Harris 51 - Regular tees, 18 holes "A NEW PR AT -3. I am very surprised since it was the worst mosquitos I have EVER been around during a disc golf round. I brought no mosquito spray. I showed practically no life of being a professional in this round but I also made only one bad mistake total. It was the drive-approach on hole 4. Very glad to miss zero putts within 25 feet of the basket. I birdied the 4 shortest holes of the 18. My drives were off today but putting matters the most so that is why I got a new PR."Thursday, September 6, 2018

Grant Harris 52 - Regular tees, 18 holes "A fun round. I always tend to do better when I start on the long or hard holes instead of the easy ones. I started on hole 10 today so a -2 did not feel that good despite tying my PR. I had one good putt and 3 bad putts. My favorite throw was my drive on hole 16. Grant Harris 53 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Pretty boring round as far as the ups and downs go. There were one up and one down. The up was on hole 7 since that was my second birdie ever on that hole and it was a really nice hyzer overstable drive. I have a new favorite disc to drive with. My very overstable flick from Discraft. The overstableness allows me to throw the disc with power without turning over. My down was my approach on hole 10. I grip locked that approach and that was my farthest drive on that hole. As I get used to the flick disc, I should increase my PR to the -5 range. No bad or good putts. Hole 2 has an asterisk as I should had par but a person in my group purposely distracted me with full intent. That putt was within 20 feet so it would have gone in without that distraction. I would have been much more upset if that par would have got me at -3 or better because that would be a new PR. I play for PRs every time I am out playing disc golf. I went OB on hole 18 but I was able to find my disc again."Thursday, August 23, 2018

Grant Harris 52 - Regular tees, 18 holes "TIED my PR at -2. Very happy on my back nine considering that I got two bogeys and I got my first birdie ever on hole 17. I had soo many nerves on hole 17 since that was my first birdie on that hole. I was really close but I still hit no chains on the putt. I was sooo close to my first birdie on hole 15 since it hit the front of the basket from 80 feet out. I was really appreciative for two of my putts and very disappointed in three of my putts so I should have got a -3."Thursday, August 2, 2018

Grant Harris 55 - Regular tees, 18 holes "A bad stretch at the start of the back nine. Tied my PR for the front nine(-2). What a stupid hole 2. I tried to flick but it went south behind trees. The round was worse for me. The league went well. I practically won 11 dollars. I won the second CTP which was the hardest since the group was just playing from hole 9. It was parked and the best throw with my new tee bird and best throw ever on that hole. I earned a gateway wizard 176-gram disc. My putting is just getting less and less confident but I will see if my putting goes a step up with my new wizard."Thursday, July 26, 2018

Grant Harris 57 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Went O.B. 2 times. My league made the O.B. rules for the advanced division. This was just a terrible back nine. My score is definitely better than what my play represented. 4 bad putts and only 1 good putt which was my first birdie on hole 4. It was rainy during the second-half so I am happy with my score. This is the best round I have ever watched. A person in the group got -15. Grant Harris 53 - Regular tees, 18 holes "It was bad again from the front nine(+1). The back nine now is easier than the front nine(-2). I tied my PR on the back nine. I thought I birdied holes 12 and 18 for the first time but both were the second time I have ever done it. The front nine is actually really frustrating. So close to aceing hole 18. Grant Harris 55 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Two highlights and one lowlight. Pretty boring round. The highlight was the drive on hole 10 and the drive on hole 12 was the lowlight. 2nd best score here though. Hole 11 was the most fun. It was the best drive in a very long time and over 300 feet. The putt then hit the front of the basket. SO CLOSE. I never birdied that hole. I still never birdie hole 3,4,8,10,11,12,14,15, and 18. I will birdie holes 4, 12, and 18 soon."Friday, June 1, 2018

Grant Harris 56 - Regular tees, 18 holes "I did really well and then really bad. 1st time birdieing hole 7 and 12. I froze up on my 10 feet or closer putts on hole 9 and 13. I hit a 30-foot putt on hole 10 and a 50 footer on hole 6 which was probably my farthest putt ever. It is a step closer to my first ace."Saturday, May 19, 2018

Grant Harris 52 - Regular tees, 18 holes "This is a new PR for me(-2). My old one was +1. The luckiest shot of the day was the putt on hole 10. It was windy and I was upset after a bad approach. So I decided to throw it towards the ground, not the basket. Then the wind picked the frisbee up and it still almost went over the basket but the chains caught it. Hole 5's basket took the good putt and throw it out of the basket. It was the first time birdieing Hole 16 and 18. I think I could only improve my score on the back nine by 3. The back nine was -2 which was better than the front nine(0). Hole 13 was a really good putt. Hole 1 was a really bad putt. Hole 2's trees grabbed my disc early. My drive on hole 16 was the best drive of the day as it did some anhyzer action. now I am really close to my friend's best score here(-4)."Sunday, April 29, 2018

Grant Harris 55 - Regular tees, 18 holes "Hole 1 was fine but I realized that I can get an easy 2 from a practice throw on hole one if I throw forehand. Hole 4 and 7 were bad drives as I through into the dirt. Hole 10 ten was reasonable as I through into a strong headwind. Hole 14 was a bad approach. I got my first birdie on hole 13 and I missed my first birdie on hole 12 since I almost aced that hole. I parked the drive on hole 5. I got a PR for the back nine and the whole 18. Both were a +1(the back nine and the whole course). I had a lot of fun on the back nine."Wednesday, April 11, 2018

Grant Harris 57 - Regular tees, 18 holes "My first 7 holes were my holes disc golf, at least for my drives. On hole 1, I missed an easy putt. On hole 2, it was my first time experimenting with the sidearm throw on that hole. On hole 3 and 7, it was the farthest I have ever thrown which was about 350 feet so it felt I was putting instead approaching for birdie. On hole 4 and 7, it was the first time that I through the distance of those holes but it was either about 30 feet to the right or to the left. On hole 5 and 6, I parked it 15 feet by the basket. Everything from there went downhill for my drives but I was sometimes able to save it with a good putt or approach which is when I still able to par the hole. Hole 15 and 16 had good drives but were either too far or behind a tree.The first 9 was a PR for me with a -1 when it was previously a 0. My overall score was +3 which is one stroke worse than my PR at Wales."Wednesday, March 21, 2018

Grant Harris 27 - Regular tees, 9 holes "The wind was just average Wales Community Park wind, but it was in the upper thirties which is pretty cold so I am thrilled that I tied my PR for all par 3s which is a zero. I was competing against my brother, and we tied on the first nine at 0. Then we did an elimination at hole 10, and I beat him with him getting two over and I got one over which is a 4."
