Great course will be even better once everyone tramples all the growth and vines.

Now a 24 hole facility. This was a surprisingly great course. So well designed in a parkland like setting with some in the Ocala forest. I loved the variety of shots required to score. The wooded holes were fair challenges with only a few poke-and-hope holes. Overall, this was very fun to play and challenging.

Pros: Turf tee pads, signage, great variety of shots. Even an island hole.
Cons: Couldn’t find Hole #14. lol. I’m sure they’ll put in arrows or something soon.

Great and diverse course. Very surprised it was rated as low as it was (#38) when I believe it is every bit as good or better than the Greenway. Great use of under utilized County property. Mix of open, wooded and densely wooded.

Sawmill is maturing! 24 holes. Tons of shot shapes and a variety of challenges including a new par 5 bomber hole, a new double mando technical hole, with a well laid out flow from hole to hole. Turf tee pads on all Long Pad positions. (About half the holes still have carpet for the Short Pad positions) The course is constantly maintained and upgraded by local volunteers and will become top-notch when the Short Pads and permanent signage finally get completed!

Until all the small root and vines are broken down where they put in the new holes I suggest watching your step, other then that one of my favorites yet you get wooded tight lines and you get some open areas to just rip it.
