Good news! No idea who or how, but someone has been rough mowing. The course is 100% playable and actually fairly clean and plays well, from the short tees, as of right now. A few long tees are unplayable.

Twp will not mow..course is to be removed permanently this fall. Thanks everyone who helped out and played when they could, this would have been a dream course with the park mowing it but since it will not be, there's no point keeping it in the ground.

That's a shame, I like this course a lot and would play it regularly if it had course maintenance.

Now all trimmed up with Terry on the mower today doing some. Course is as playable as it was last fall, totally fine shape. We still plan to do a LOT more to clean it up but it's truly throwable from both sets of tees today again finally.

All except maybe 1/3 of hole #4 is fully trimmed up and 50% of the course is mowed, the rest unmowed BUT no grass in fairways taller than boots, totally playable! Will work on #4 some more today.

The attack to bring the course back to playable begins this week, anyone down to help?

Permanent tee signs are up! Will improve over time but for now each hole (except #4- as its still undergoing a change but it playable now as the old tees) has a cemented in color-coded tee sign post with a picture of the hole and #/distance.

Work begins again tomorrow- we're going to start cutting some branches on #4 to clear out the new tee placement. If you can help in future days please contact us, there is much to do but with help we can get this done this spring!

OPEN and PLAYABLE! All 9 baskets cemented in, all tees marked off at the corners, new updated map at both 1st tees. Fully mowed and trimmed. Hole #4 is still going to have the basket moved again and the long tee changed eventually but it is marked as is for now. Get out and THROW!

Course may be unplayable for awhile (and 1 basket has been temp removed to be re-designed per the park's request). But we just bought a Dr Power Brushhog. When you shop at the Throw Shop, you help pay for tools like that to build courses like this. Much work will be completed this fall- but don't expect 'good' condition out here, right now !

Played new course last week and the great potential was obvious throughout. Certainly still some rough spots but very impressed with the work that has been done. Some of the brush clearing must have been brutal! Thankful for a local course that is both challenging and fair, and playable for all skill levels. Had to do a little extra walking as we figured out the right direction to a couple holes, but excited to see it develop over time. Thanks to all those who have made this happen!
Definitely recommend bug/tick spray, and a good scrub of hands & ankles after the round in case of poison ivy.

Thank you. Definitely a lot to do still and we don't expect it to be playable mid-summer due to mowing needs etc. Working on stumps next and getting the park to start mowing. Ivy is off the charts but I have been and will be spraying for it over time! We have more work days coming up join the "Sandra Richardson Park Disc Golf Club" group on Facebook if interested.

Now a complete 9-hole course! I installed hole #4's basket last night. That hole will not be marked until Wed evening. All 9 holes are in and tees will be marked with new map at #1 by Wed night. Temp tees on 4 holes, grass on 5 holes for now. If you want better tees, please donate!

Come help build the course THIS Sunday 1-4pm. Courses don't build themselves. Everyone can get involved. It's OK to miss a league round and get your hands dirty growing the sport. Anyone who can help is awesome.
