I really enjoyed this little gem between Elk Rapids and Charlevoix. The opening 900 foot hole number one is a great start and then things get fairly technical as you move through the course. There are definitely some places where having a spotter is handy, and some of the fairways are very narrow, but very fun to play. There are also many places where birds are very makeable, and also some places to really lay out some long throws so it’s a good mix of short and long. The owner has cut some fa ...

Tons and Tons of Potential! I thought the hole layout and terrain were great. Signage was the worst part of the experience. We had a local join for my first round and even he struggled as times knowing where the next Tee-Box was. I like concrete T-Boxes but dirt is fine, however the dirt pads here are seldom level (up, down and side to side). This course is challenging & thick, yet fun and unique. Creative hole placement makes each hole interesting. If you can, have a spotter on most of the holes (lots of underbrush, etc.). Ric Evans and others have put a lot of hard work into this gem alongside US 31. Can't wait to see it evolve & improve!

Fun, short, track. Wonderful views and a stellar private walk. Great Innova Pro Baskets.

All new course layout designed and in the process of clearing. Short and long tees. New baskets ready to be assembled.

Stay tuned and bang some chains!

The original course has been completely pulled out, so I would go play somewhere else with better mojo. The property owners didn't keep their word to the original course designer, installer, and the 50+ volunteers that have worked on it since 2011/2012, and showed zero respect for all of work that was put into their property ~ pretty lame really. So yeah - just go play somewhere else - plenty of options around - Mt McSauba in Charlevoix, Lions Course in East Jordan, Camp Hayo Went Ha on Torch Lake, Avalanche in Boyne City, and the list goes on. Anywhere is better than this place.
