I really enjoyed this little gem between Elk Rapids and Charlevoix. The opening 900 foot hole number one is a great start and then things get fairly technical as you move through the course. There are definitely some places where having a spotter is handy, and some of the fairways are very narrow, but very fun to play. I really enjoyed this little gem between Elk Rapids and Charlevoix. The opening 900 foot hole number one is a great start and then things get fairly technical as you move through the course. There are definitely some places where having a spotter is handy, and some of the fairways are very narrow, but very fun to play. There are also many places where birds are very makeable, and also some places to really lay out some long throws so it’s a good mix of short and long. The owner has cut some fairways into the tall grass, but again make sure you keep an eye on your plastic when you toss. Baskets are in good shape and the owner has really used the land well to carve out a course you’ll definitely want to play more than once. It is a private course, and there is a suggested donation of five dollars per player, well worth it. A dropbox is on site for cash, and an email address is provided for PayPal. Each hole has a little signage, but I highly recommend grabbing a map at the parking area by whole number one.

Tons and Tons of Potential! I thought the hole layout and terrain were great. Signage was the worst part of the experience. We had a local join for my first round and even he struggled as times knowing where the next Tee-Box was. I like concrete T-Boxes but dirt is fine, however the dirt pads here are seldom level (up, down and side to side). If this course could fix the T-Pads, give some decent signage it would drastically go up. Also believe this would be a A+/5 Star course if they handled tho ...

If this course could fix the T-Pads, give some decent signage it would drastically go up. Also believe this would be a A+/5 Star course if they handled those items plus trash bins, update poor baskets and add benches. Regardless I will absolutely play here again and I am excited to see improvements to this course. Thanks for all the effort and I will update this review as improvements are made.
