This course is friggin’ sweet! The shortest hole on the course (#9) is INTIMIDATING. I had the chance to utilize my thumber often which was a delight as at some courses I may not get to use that throw once. Used thumber on #3, #4, #10 & #14 & #17. #10 is a lil less dense on the left going down the hill off the huge overhead drive than on the right and center. Guy told us he lost 1 to the left.
#14 fairway is uphill & inclines left to right. #16 & #17 have windows to the left & right.

Riverview is still in development but just over the past several months it has improved considerably. A nice combination of open shots, water hazard, wooded holes and elevation makes it a diverse course with a lot of variety. Hole 10 is a highlight, throwing from a 40+ foot hill back onto the flats along the river. Kris Holden has done great work developing the course, concrete tee pads already in on 1/3 of the course, more to come soon.

Riverview has been a great course. The river comes into play frequently in the front 9 while the back 9 are all wooded. There are a nice variety of shot shaping requirements with enough open holes to allow beginners to enjoy the course, yet still challenge more advanced players.

Paraphrased from my DGCR review:
Plenty of parking, well maintained and the course designer(s) and local club are always here and welcoming. good variety of open holes, and technical wooded shots. one of my favorite back nines in the area. near lots of food and drink options. worth the time and drive.

Great mix of open (along the river) and wooded holes. Concrete tee pads are nice. Shots of all elevation, direction, and skill make the course fun, but challenging. Holes 9 and 10 are very unique.
