In 1988, The Iconic Riverside Disc Golf Course was created by Houck. It is the third course of his design and it is Houck’s vision and foresight of creating winding fairways underneath massive trees and in open greens that has inspired the development of multiple other disc golf courses in Victoria.

Over time, the original Houck Design has evloved with the addition of several alternate pins. All original Tee Boxes remain in the same locations, except for #16 which was moved back approximately twenty feet, to higer ground, due to river risings dropping silt on the box. This new Tee Location was created in 2020 during the installation of The River Course at Fox's Bend
