Matthew Hull 21 - Regular tees, 9 holes "What a fun time this was! I decided to enjoy part of my Saturday morning/afternoon @ Reserves and practice a bit for tomorrow's Ace Race event. :) I threw pretty well too although the wind increased over time to the point where it got INSANE. The first several rounds were enjoyable though. I had a nice Orion toss on #3 and another solid Evidence run on #6 (*just* left of chains)."

Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "In these ever-increasing windy conditions, a -7 round is fine with me! I came very close on #1 with my Neutron Matrix (looked great but landed just short), just missed on #6 (Evidence), and, despite a 15-20 mph headwind, had a nice straight throw that landed right by the #9 basket with my Neutron Matrix."

Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Considering that by now the wind was hitting anywhere from 15-25 mph, I couldn't have been happier with my round! My Watermelon Theory *just* missed the line on #5 (slightly too much anhyzer) and my Star Rat throw on #9 was wacky! It was against a headwind and I threw it with solid velocity and it went straight, sat in the air for a second, faded, and landed right next to the basket. Just the way I drew it up! ;)"

Matthew Hull 23 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Nothing beats enjoying some disc golf the day after snagging an Ace but that is especially true on a Friday afternoon with my wife and son joining me for the ride! I felt great today too. It was 55 degrees with a light breeze and we had a wonderful time while the good weather lasted. I came very close with my Trace of Hearts on #2 and the Ace Race 2017 Sting darn near snagged another Ace on #5 as it nearly had enough turn to find chains. The Evidence continues to want an Ace on #6 too (just missed to the left)."

Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Once again, my Warden continues to hit beautiful lines and just feels silky smooth as a putter. I am loving this disc more and more and feel that it has already become a lethal weapon in my bag. I still struggle putting at times but hopefully, this one can help me to find better consistency. As far as my other discs are concerned, my Watermelon Theory, like the Sting, came oh-so-close on #5. I feel another Ace is coming on that hole soon! And of course, I had to give my Sting another shot on #7 and it came super close (hit the same Ace line from yesterday but was just long). I brought my Captain today and it was PARKED by #8. It didn't feel like a real Ace threat but boy did it ever hit the line!"

Matthew Hull 21 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Along with the Captain, I broke out my trusty Nuke S.S. this evening and it hit some good lines! I forget that the Nuke wants to fade hard at the end of throws and lucked out on #2 when it hit the perfect line. If only it had maintained its height/flight it might have been a REALLY perfect throw!"

Matthew Hull 23 - Regular tees, 9 holes "I was absolutely licking my chops for some disc golf action this evening because it was 55 degrees with no wind whatsoever! Oddly enough, a few of my discs like my Neutron Matrix faded much more than they did on the windy days earlier this week which goes to show you that there are adjustments you have to make even if there is NO wind! In any case, I felt wonderful tonight and played quite well! This initial round was by far my weakest of the night though. Still, I had an excellent Warden putt on #8 after a decent Orion drive."
-7
Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Now this is more like it! My putting with my Warden was huge this round as I made a few 25-30 ft. putts and was just very consistent overall."
-6
Matthew Hull 21 - Regular tees, 9 holes "With the exception of a very disappointing Trace drive on #3 (bad decision on my part), this round was superb! Both my Ace Race Sting and Watermelon Theory (which I threw in the next round) are hitting a nice line on #5. It's a fun little anhyzer line I hope to hit soon!"

Matthew Hull 22 - Regular tees, 9 holes "My Trace of Hearts hit a superb line on #2 and just landed short/low of where it needed to be to find an Ace. The same dad/son that I came across a couple of days ago were playing and they saw my throw so I would have had a couple of witnesses! :)"
-7
Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Unbelievably, I started out with a super weak 3 on #1 but played the rest of the round nearly perfect! The Star Roadrunner landed a few feet from the #8 basket again and my Star Rat came oh-so-close to an Ace on #9!"

Matthew Hull 19 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Wow! All I can say is that, despite it being literally pitch black for several holes, I still managed to throw really well and pretty much park my drives. It was NUTS for me to play as much as I did in the dark but to get a score like this anyway was so cool!"

Matthew Hull 19 - Regular tees, 9 holes "It took enough spit-outs and seemingly perfect drives missing the chains but #60 finally happened on the very same hole where my first ever Ace in Ohio happened nearly a year (11/11/17) ago! :) Amazingly enough, the same disc I chose to throw (Ace Race 2017 Sting) was one I darn near lost on Hole #3! I didn't think about it at all but simply threw it with perfect touch which allowed it to get just the right turn and fade and hit the chains dead center. It was a no-doubt Ace and I am just thrilled I finally got one to stick after so many near misses! It was so dark that I literally had to finish the round the next day (Friday the 19th) but I still finished with a superb score overall! The Warden is quickly becoming my next #1 putter too. It simply finds the chains!"

Matthew Hull 22 - Regular tees, 9 holes "The barrage of rounds at Reserves continues! :) It was nice and in the low 50s this evening and I felt good with my throws. The Warden was once again solid as my putter and I am liking it more and more every time I throw it! As a matter of fact, I darn near aced #7 with my Warden! It hit a sweet line with a slight turn before fading. Unfortunately, it hit the left side of the chains and didn't stick but still...not a bad toss. There was a dad and his son playing #6 and they saw the near ace as well. :)"

Matthew Hull 22 - Regular tees, 9 holes "I like the way I recovered from a nasty 4 on Hole #3. My Warden putt on #4 was solid as was my Sting drive on #5. I came very close on #6 with my Evidence as well. I did a lot of things right! It just continues to drive home how difficult an ace is to obtain. Even on short holes, you still have to hit the pinpoint ace line! ;)"
-6
Matthew Hull 21 - Regular tees, 9 holes "A couple of evenings after nailing the ace line on #1 with the Neutron Matrix (and NOT getting the ace...sigh...), I went for it again and this time, the Matrix skipped off the top of the basket! It really feels hot right now but remains an "Ace Virgin" unfortunately. ;)"

Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Not a bad way to finish off the night! Unfortunately, my quest for Ace #60 continues but I honestly felt good about the way I played tonight. I am hitting some nice putts with my Warden and my touch/upshot felt very, very good. I went Star Roadrunner on #8, released my disc well to the left of where I usually throw, and it NAILED the line and landed 5 ft. from the basket!"
