Matthew Hull 47 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "What a fun evening of disc golf! It was a "balmy" 35 degrees with no wind this evening which sounds chilly but it's amazing how playable disc golf is in these conditions when the wind isn't cutting through me. My scores weren't great (some bad putts) but I like the way I threw."

Matthew Hull 21 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Nice!! After a pretty dramatic finish to January (didn't snag an Ace until the 29th!), there's going to be no drama this month because, in my third round of the month, I found a smooth, clean Ace on the nearly 200 ft. Hole #4 with my Star Beast (AGAIN!) I don't know why my Star Beast loves this particular hole in cold weather but that's my fourth Ace on this particular hole in the past year+ with this disc. Yay for me! :)"

Matthew Hull 47 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Ha, ha, ha! Unbelievable!! I was wrapping up my second round of the evening (in the dark no less) and preparing myself mentally for the reality that I might need to play a gazillion rounds on Saturday and/or Sunday to snag that elusive January Ace. And then...my Falcon Servo bailed me out with a sweet, low line on Hole #9 to finish my night with a BANG!! My toss felt good but I wasn't really sure if it was going to be Ace material. And even after hearing the sound of chains, I didn't know if my throw stuck until I got right up to the basket. In any case, the streak continues despite the chilly 26 degree evening (can't...feel...hands!) That's 36 consecutive months (3 years!!) with at least one Ace folks. I am so proud of this accomplishment! YESSSSSSS!!"

Matthew Hull 49 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "My oh my...January is NOT an easy month to snag an Ace...even at a friendly putt-putt course like Reserves Park. Granted, it was cold, windy, and wet/muddy today which is pretty much the trifecta of nastiness but still...I've got to find a way to keep my streak (35 months straight with an Ace) going! The weather in the coming days looks pretty nasty too. We shall see..."

Matthew Hull 44 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "My friend Michael S. and I played one round together (I played another quick one after he left.) and it was a good time as always. But man...that wind just rips through you! My putting saved me during Round #1 and I put in a beautiful 40 ft. putt on #8!"

Matthew Hull 45 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Meh...I haven't played much disc golf this winter (so far) and it showed today! Still...the fresh air was nice and I darn near found an Ace on #1 (Star Spider hit the perfect line and ricocheted right off of the pole!)"

Matthew Hull 46 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It's been a very tough week for all of us. We lost our beloved cat Shadow last Thursday morning and my Grandpa Richard could pass at anytime as well. It's been tough for sure...so I decided to head out to Reserves Park and hunt for a December Ace...to honor my loved ones. I suppose we all grieve in our own way, right? Anyway, nothing doing these two rounds but I did make a nice putt on #3 after a so-so Blue Bomber Buzzz drive."
-7
Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Well how about that? :) Thank you Jesus! I managed to snag an Ace this month (pushing my personal streak to 35 months!) and honor my dear Grandpa at the same time. My Falcon Servo nailed the line on #1 and found the chains for a slam dunk Ace. My Grandpa is a lifelong Bengals fan though so I just might have to break out my Bengals disc (MVP Resistor) and try to snag another one soon. The rest of the round was great too (aside from a lousy 3-putt performance on #3 but we won't go there). ;)"

Matthew Hull 45 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It's been a pretty rough couple of days (lost our beloved cat Shadow this morning and my Grandpa could pass at anytime as well) so I had to get outside and enjoy the fresh air for a bit. I love the way I played too. Despite it being only 35 degrees, my Star Beast and Sword hit some wonderful lines on #8. Had a couple of close Ace runs on #6 and #9 too."

Matthew Hull 42 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I am still alive! This has been the longest hiatus between rounds (nearly one month) in several years but, in all honesty, it's been a nice break. I played a couple of rounds with my friend Michael this evening and we had a great time! My Evidence hit a nice line on #3 (in the dark!) and my Star Beast was solid on #8."

Matthew Hull 40 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "The weather is finally starting to feel like November (low 50's and it cooled off once we hit dusk) yet my throws/velocity were better than expected! The cold weather tends to really wreck my distance but this evening, it was smooth sailing. I absolutely love the way I am throwing on the 285 ft. Hole #8 too. My Sword is just barely missing the Ace line there. It's going to happen...eventually! ;)"
-10
Matthew Hull 44 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "First things first! I *finally* got my November Ace (34 consecutive months with at least one Ace baby!!) thanks to my Blue Bomber Buzzz hitting a smooth line on Hole #9 in complete darkness! I heard the glorious sound of chains and felt good about the disc sticking the landing (which it did). What's so odd about this round, however, is that I deuced the two longest holes (#3 and 8) yet bombed badly on the two shortest ones (#6 and 7). On one hand, it's always sweet to throw well on the long holes but man...I was humbled on the short ones. In any case, my Blue Bomber Buzzz owned this round! I parked it on several holes (#1, 3, and 4 come to mind) and of course, it found pay-dirt on #9...and made me feel good about NOT playing any more rounds in the dark. Hee, hee!"

Matthew Hull 40 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "WOW!! Now that's what I expect to do whenever I play at Reserves Park. One day after two of the worst personal rounds here ever, I came back with a vengeance! My Sword and Star Beast are both hitting smooth lines on Hole #8. My Sword especially seems to be close to finding an Ace there."

Matthew Hull 50 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Ugh...these were two of the most confoundedly off rounds I've ever had. It was a gorgeous 75 degrees this Sunday afternoon with no wind to speak of yet I played poorly across the board. My drives were terrible and my putting was equally atrocious. At least I got some good exercise..? ;)"

Matthew Hull 41 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Remember remember the fifth of November. I'd say that the film V for Vendetta is VERY apropos for our time but that's another story for another forum. As far as disc golf goes, I played wonderfully this evening! Smooth drives and solid Roach putts throughout all three rounds."
-8
Matthew Hull 19 - Regular tees, 9 holes "No Aces to report this evening but dang...it's hard to complain with rounds like this one!"

Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "I only managed to get in one round this evening (a severe thunderstorm was headed our way and I got in what I could) but it was a smooth, solid round! My throws felt great (except for a lousy Evidence drive on #3 that faded and landed at the bottom of the hill) and I darn near aced Hole #4 with my Star Beast! (hit a decent amount of chains on the left side of the basket). My Champion Destroyer hit a wonderful line on #8 too. Unfortunately, this might have been the last day in the 70's this year. It sure was fun while it lasted though!"

Matthew Hull 41 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "I felt great this evening! I haven't really played all that much disc golf over the past several weeks so my strength and velocity feels really solid right now. This is one evening I feel that I should have played @ Harbin or Monroe Park because I had it going! It was a windless evening and my Sword found a superb line on #8."
-11
Matthew Hull 43 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Other than a ridiculous bogey on #3 (just stupid approach/putts), I had another sensational couple of rounds! I didn't manage to snag an Ace but I had plenty of close calls."

Matthew Hull 44 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "While I threw my typical discs this evening, I broke out the Zone that my good friend Michael "Downtown" Brown gave me as a gift and I'll be darned...it almost hit Hole #1 on my very first toss of the evening. :) I figured it would hit a line similar to my Verdict and it didn't disappoint! That disc will certainly find a place in my bag."
-14
Matthew Hull 40 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Overall, I was very pleased with my accuracy tonight. I didn't manage to snag an Ace but I sure had fun trying! :)"

-15
Matthew Hull 39 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Boy did I feel good tonight! Perhaps a little sore and tired (I did throw a bit last night after all.) but my accuracy and putting were very good this evening. There was virtually no wind so the Ace lines were as juicy as ever. I couldn't quite snag one but my Blue Bomber Buzzz darn near hit Hole #3 and I even had some solid drives on #8 (Sword). It was the night of the close call for sure!"
-11
Matthew Hull 43 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "Three of my four rounds this evening were -7 or better which I'll take any day! No new Aces to report but tons of close calls as a few throws glanced off of the chains or hit part of the basket."

Matthew Hull 44 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It was a gorgeous evening (in the 70's and a bit windy) so I couldn't resist the urge to get some quality exercise and toss around some plastic. My Falcon Servo did its best to have an encore Ace on #1 (narrowly missed the basket) and my Champion Destroyer hit a superb line on #8 (throwing that disc with velocity into a headwind is always a great idea)."
-7
Matthew Hull 20 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Boom baby! My Blue Bomber Buzz hit an absolutely flawless line on the nearly 200 ft. Hole #4 and it found chains for a rare no-doubter Ace! The timing/rhythm of my throw felt a little out of sink but I feel I pretty much willed my BBB to hit the line it hit. It was satisfying and a couple of friendly gals saw the whole thing which was sweet. The blonde gal was pretty attractive too! Just don't tell my lovely wife...hee, hee! ;) I made a few decent putts with my Flying Pig Aviar (gave my Roach an ultra rare night off) and my BBB hit a nice line on #9 to finish things off for the evening."

-5
Matthew Hull 49 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "It was a superb Saturday afternoon in the low-60's and the wind was a minor factor which made for some juice Ace runs! Too bad I couldn't hit the broad side of a barn early on!"
-9
Matthew Hull 45 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "After halfway through my third lackluster round of the afternoon, I told myself that I couldn't leave until I shot a 20 (-7) or better. Well, I picked up the pace immediately (amazing what setting goals can do) and, had I not missed a bonehead 8-10 ft. putt on #7 (tossed my Shield at the basket and it hit the lip...dumb mistake on my part), I would have achieved said -7 round!"
-6
Matthew Hull 21 - Regular tees, 9 holes "Whoo-hoo!! After narrowly missing the Ace line with my Blue Bomber Buzzz during the previous round, I broke out my Falcon Servo on #1 and it hit a wondrous line before nailing the chains for Ace #201! Several young men were walking towards Hole #4 across the pond and they got to see the Ace which, as always, was super cool. It's no Monroe Hole #16 but I'll take the Ace! Too bad I choked hard on #2 or this could have been a better round! My Falcon Servo *narrowly* missed hitting Hole #4 as well. It was hot this round!"

Matthew Hull 42 - Regular tees 2x, 18 holes "What a fun Friday night this was! I played way better than my atrocious round last night as my accuracy and putting were better (not perfect but certainly better). My Star Beast hit a juicy line on #8 during my second round but landed just short. I honestly thought it had a great chance to find the Ace!"
