Established in 2001, Pittock Conservation Area is one of Southern Ontario’s most popular disc golf destinations. Set beside the Pittock reservoir, the course has long offered players a fun open layout with approachable play and steady community use.
Fluent Disc Sport Inc. has recently completed a full redesign in concert with the City of Woodstock, and the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority, with construction tentatively scheduled from late Fall 2025 through Spring 2026. The plan prioritizes keeping as much of the existing course available as possible during the transition, ensuring year-round play for the community.
The new build will expand Pittock into a true tournament-scale course while maintaining a friendly and approachable feel. Retaining a Red/Blue format but expanding to Par 60/61, the design incorporates new areas of the conservation lands to bring more elevation, forested fairways, natural obstacles, and risk-versus-reward elements. Upgrades will include professional ground-flush artificial turf tee pads (6' wide x 12′–16′ long) and a full set of brand-new championship-level targets! A complete new signage package will also guide players around the new course. There's lots in store!
More to come!
