Fantastic par 54 wooded course with some elevation and the full gamut of shot shapes. Only 3 holes over 300' long make this playable by all levels of disc golfers. Cedar, Pine, and Walnut trees with tight, but clear, FAIRways provide real disc golf lines that force you to make a shot and reward you with birdies when you do. Walking paths and fencing providing OB challenge for more advanced players. Very little ground clutter with sandy trails and open landing zones make scrambling for par realistic on every hole. Cedar trees on about a third of the course can make finding your disc difficult on errant shots. Good size, wedge-shape, concrete tee pads are level and aimed correctly on most holes. Tee pad on 1 needs to be re-leveled. Tee pad on 16 is in the wrong place and/or pointing the wrong direction. They are both almost un-usable. Could use indicator arrows in the baskets to point to the next tee pad. Signage is fairly accurate and useful for finding your target, which will be in one of two possible placements. Plenty of parking and very nice bathrooms on-site. In the month leading up to this review, I know that the grass and ground-cover grew very fast on a few holes, because that's what happens in the spring, but then it was cut and is a non-issue for most of the year. Orchard Park provides a fun challenge while still maintaining an ease of play that doesn't slow you down or make you worry that you will lose a disc. Come here to learn how to hit lines and save pars. This is easily one of the best courses I've played.
