Nash Park Update:
1.The temporary course is being removed Wednesday morning
2.There's nothing any of you have done that is causing this, unfortunately the course is being met with opposition from the neighbors.
3.Livonia Parks and Recreation is still committed to installing a disc golf course in the next year. The decision was made was to remove the course for now and readdress in the spring likely via parks commission meetings. It could be potentially relocated to Stymelski Park dep ...

Park along Henry Ruff Road there is a school parking lot near there. They don’t want disc golfers parking in the school lot while the school is in session 7a-4:30p.

9 baskets now in place. A nice mix of open and wooded intermediate play. Natural pads for now. Much of the brush and trees have been cleared. Be respectful of the neighbors.

Dang, this is really unfortunate. This was a nice little course and so much closer to my home than anything else around. I'll be sure to email with the hopes that we can show people that these kinds of offerings at parks draw more interest than they think. Thank you for letting us know, and thank you for the hard work!
Thanks the emails help a lot, it gives me the ability to say I have 20, 30, 50 people in the area who really support this. I'll have that data ready to go when it's needed.
Sean, thanks for your time, work, and effort trying to make this happen. It's a shane it went down like this, but I like your positive attitude about workin with Livonia Parks and Rec to find an alternative site down the road.
