Myles Kimmerly disc golf course suffered a lot of damage from the huge storm that rolled through Northern Michigan last night. The course is CLOSED until further notice. Leelanau County officials need to assess the damage and make sure the park is safe to use. There are obviously more pressing needs going on out here at the moment, so it may take a while before the course reopens.

The concrete teepad installation project at Myles Kimmerly Park was a success! Thank you to everyone who came out and helped, and of course, Tilleys Party Store And Disc Golf, Northern Waters Disc Golf Series, and Grand Traverse Vapor, for all your amazing contributions.
The course will remain closed until Monday, June 8, to allow for the concrete to cure longer..

Forms are ready for crete. Thanks to everyone that helped so far. Maybe we should start a local disc golf club with like 30 or so members who could help do this MASSIVE amount of work. Oh well maybe next time we put concrete tees in at myles kimmerly we will be "more prepared".

Anyone know if the baskets are in? (that is, if they were pulled for the winter)
