Anyone find a blue frontline x mortar on the hole with the huge down hill and terrible mess of crap to the left of the fairway.?

Grueling, Challenging, and Fun. I've heard tale of Matt Dollar saying the long course was, "the worst 54 I've ever thrown," before realizing that he shot a 1053 rated round and set the course record.

This course will be exercise (my wife finally agreed and she didn't even see the long back nine). Be ready to hike up and down some hills much like "The Quake," in (for Central PA) relatively nearby, Pinchot Park.

The fairways are pretty fair, the rough isn't as rough as some other courses, but there are some thorny un-pleasantries to be found as you are in nature. Safe/smart play will be rewarded well.

Some tips:
There's a disc return slot on the front of the shed. The club is really good about calling/texting folks who have their phone # written on the disc. Please utilize this for found discs, so people can have fun and not worry about injuring themselves on some of the more hazardous terrain.

Hole info

1: the fenced in baseball field and the roped off areas are out of bounds. No drop zone, just take up to a meter of relief from where you crossed the line.

2: A bit awkward the first time you see it, but if you see a local play, you'll note a drive to the opening at the bottom of the hill allows an overhand or spike shot through/over the trees to the pin on the left.

3: There's usually a rope tied to the tree on the backside of the pin. That drop-off is serious and usually muddy, head to the drop zone if you go out of bounds on your drive (red bricks with a tempting run at a par save).

4: Have someone spot. At the least, take a look for yourself as the pin is blind and all the way around the corner at the bottom of the hill short or top long.

6: If you end up in the fence... there's a pole on the backside to attempt retrieval, otherwise the club will give you a call when someone tosses it in the return.

7: Ace run! The drop zone, for drives missing the island green, provides a challenging chance for a par save.

8: Go "left" (straight). The fairway is tight at spots, but opens up as you get closer to the pin.

9: The pin is tucked way up top the hill around the corner on the right. If you land by the logs at the top of the other side of the gully, you've got a shot at a long two and an easy par.

10: "Throw straight at the wall of trees?" ...not really. Something to the right of that wall of trees will give you a long look at a birdie.

11: It's a hop skip and a jump off to the left around the corner. Challenging to get anything but par, but not impossible.

12: There are a few large landing areas, and a few large bushes to be stuck in if you miss the landing areas. Of note is a narrow line off to the far left of the fairway.

13: This hole is a beast to reach at the short pin, and quite long at the long pin. The bushes are more spread than they look. Off the tee, being at the bottom of the hill in the open on the right is ideal. Short pin is actually the 3rd opening on the right; long pin is on the other side of the hill, ~30 feet to the left of the power line poles.

14: Long tee, straight shot down left fairway, slight left turn down the right fairway. Short tee, challenging long straight tunnel with major punishment if you're off the path. Not really tips, just don't go to the left off the left fairway long... that hill is HUGE.

15: "Easy" Uphill "tunnel" shot. It opens up enough after the crazy tree section off the short tee allowing for overhead throws.

16: Did I mention tunnel shots? The long pin is down the hill to the left, and the short pin is on the right.

17: If you can't get across the gully, there's no shame in laying up at the top of the hill. A log protects the green, but leaves a putt as well.

18: It opens up at the bottom of the hill on the right, not the left. If you end up pinned in on the left, a right hand forehand roller has been effective.
