Shot my first ever 1000 rated round here. So it'll always be special.

A beautiful course that is very nicely laid out and easy to navigate. Mostly flat except for 13 where you tee off a huge hill in the middle of the park. The water comes into play on a few holes, but you shouldn't have much problem throwing over it or playing it safe to the right. Over all an easy couse with some nice trees. Doesn't have any holes that pose a particular challenge.

When someone says, "Let's play a course that's fast and fun," I think Lion's Park in Shakopee. The trees that were planted several years ago have grown, as trees do, and provide a challenge on some of the shots as well as serving to break the wind which seems to always blow across this park.

The course is laid out in such a way that there will always be wind - usually quite strong. The tees are nice and holes are quite easy. There is a lack of signage that can make the course difficult to navigate for newcomers, but if you play it a few times you will get the hang of it. Not great, but fun and easy
