Holes 1-6, 12-18 playable. 7-11 are defunct due to stadium construction. No tees marked so you need to stumble your way through using map. Long distance between many holes. Holes 1-6 hemmed in by parking lots and service drive so presents some frustration in play. 1.5 stars

Course isn't fully gone. Holes 7-13 are either out or unplayable though due to overgrown trees or no basket. Nice shots along the service drive with the high rises in the background. You can tell the course was really nice at one point. Still a decent round if you're passing by the area and want to get about 12 holes in.

I drove by today and saw a canvas practice basket on 7's old fairway. Is someone trying to revive this course?

Nicholas George Fucinari   January 2, 2019 at 12:51pm

Yep, a buddy of mine and I put that there to create an extra hole.

Jeff Novak   January 4, 2019 at 12:45am

Do you have a tee market for it?

Nicholas George Fucinari   January 4, 2019 at 7:20pm

I do not. Just been playing it as a short shot to the right of the hillside basket next to the football practice things.

Paul DISC-OR-DIE Holstein    May 3, 2018 at 9:53pm

Can anyone confirm that this course is still there and playable. Was going to play it this weekend when I'm in the area.

That is a damn shame. It was a fun track

Paul DISC-OR-DIE Holstein   May 4, 2018 at 12:20pm

Thanks guys.... so if I did show up though, I could play... just that it would have one missing bucket and not be well kept? I went to school there for 20 years and never played the course, it would be more nostalgic for me than a serious round. And maybe I can follow up with someone about getting it back into shape?

Ryan Traud   May 4, 2018 at 10:21pm

Yup. Bart Kowalski may have more info. Playable but unkempt. May need a local or find a map ,some long walks between holes

Jeff Novak    October 12, 2017 at 11:28pm

Holes 8 9 and 10 have a trailer and shipping containers blocking the fairways...if anyone cares...

Nicholas George Fucinari   October 13, 2017 at 2:19pm

That place has really just been forgotten. I wish someone cared. Only a couple miles from my house but virtually unplayable now.

Darren Harper   October 13, 2017 at 3:13pm

Yeah the rest of the holes are ok, if someone put in the efforts and knew who to talk to the storage containers could be moved to behind the fences of the ball park and still Ave easy acess for the players and coaches.

This course is pretty bad. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Can't find the first hole. Grass is really overgrown. Someone needs to fix that crap and make it playable.

Disappointing to say the least. Closest course to my house and I won't even play it anymore. It's been totally forgotten.

Not for public use unfortunately

Nicholas George Fucinari   September 15, 2016 at 7:50am

Yep, 8 and 9 tees are there. Short holes. Last week there was a big storage container on hole 8's fairway, makes for a fun hole.

Nicholas George Fucinari   September 15, 2016 at 7:56am

Correction, hole 9's fairway. We had to make up a tee for hole 8 that we all agreed on. It is not defined with the new parking lot there.

Jeff Novak    June 22, 2016 at 2:42am

Construction has started on the soccer field. Hole #7 is unplayable. Hole 6 and 8 and possibly 9 will be unplayable soon

Anyone run weekly cash rounds on this course still? There was a group of 8-10 guys that would meet up once a week last summer and play for 5-10 bucks/person depending what people wanted to pay that week. Does anyone still do this? If not, is there enough interest to attempt to organize some sort of friday or saturday evening league for LTU's course?

I feel that with all of the effort that has been put into maintaining the course throughout the campus construction, it's quite a shame to see it go relatively unused. If youre interested, leave a reply and maybe we can put something together!

6 is the long boy near the soccer field.

Nick Pacific   April 14, 2016 at 3:56pm

I would recommend staying away for the rest of April to be honest. It's super muddy and Nosek and I have done a good job playing on it the last few months and tearing the dirt pads up in the process. I planned on staying away till it dried up and I'd recommend anyone else to do same

Nick Pacific    March 31, 2016 at 6:14am

Anyone know what the situation is with the small pond on 16? Looked to be a plugged in extension cord running into it. I threw a swirly teebird in there I'd love to get back, does it empty out come summer?

Looks to be what was going on Bart. I'd imagine there are a ton of discs in that pond, do you know anyone out there who maybe collecting them up if it is pumped/drained

Bart Kowalewski   March 31, 2016 at 11:05am

i mean i live right there. i can keep checking

Nick Pacific   March 31, 2016 at 10:02pm

It's right by the drain, normally I would go in after it but the extension cord/them pumping it scared me

Bart Kowalewski    March 21, 2016 at 3:00am

Hole 17's basket is broken. The cage has fallen off. I think someone was jumping up and down on it or something.
