So for those of you who may not be aware or don't know the details. A3 has been running a winter series of tournaments.
8 events at 8 different courses. event 5 at willow was yesterday. Event 6 is at cass on the 27th, Event 7 is at Kensington and the final event at Hudson mills.

So for those of you who may not be aware or don't know the details. A3 has been running a winter series of tournaments.
8 events at 8 different courses. event 5 at willow was yesterday. Event 6 is at cass on the 27th, Event 7 is at Kensington and the final event at Hudson mills.
The Corrigan Propane Winter Warmer Series has 8 events with a final 9 for the top 4 players in every division. CTP's at every tournament. We have been paying 130% to AM's and adding some cash for the PRO's as well. Each event is $25, the AM’s get a player pack, optional $1 ace pool which if no aces are hit carries to the next event and there have not been any aces so far. You must buy into the series to get into the finals and you must play in a minimum of 3 events to qualify for the finals. Buy in is 2 new or slightly used discs Z or Champion plastic or better, no grooves; discs are accepted at the TD’s discretion, discs cannot be written on, or $18 and we will put 2 discs in for you.
The most important thing to be aware of is that the finals at Hudson mills the players who make the final 9 will share in $600 in cash or merchandise which came from the sponsors money, corrigan propane. the AM1, AM2, PRO, Am Master divisions are very lightly attended and leave open the possibilitys that a person could play in the final 3 events and still get into the final 9. AM3 and AM4 are both busy with 6 or so players in the series.
the cash or merch will be divided by number of players in the series in each division. You must attend the finals to get a share of the payouts points only help you get a spot in the finals.
7 Pro’s with the maximum pts of 12
6 AM1’s with the maximum pts of 11
1 AM2 with pts of 12
10 AM3’s with the maximum pts of 48
6 AM4’s with the maximum pts of 35.5
1 AM Master with 4 pts

Lost a blue rampage on hole 10 yesterday and a pink halo on hole 11 today. That powder snow is rought for finding disc's. I will pay for their return.

@ Jason, Or you can see if you can buy from locals at the course. If your talking about glow league, then Mark Ellis would usually have plenty of plastic for sale. If your just talking during the day, then yeah go to Holdens.

I'm going to be playing here on wednesday next week, is Holden's liquor store always stocked up? Because I need to buy some new plastic, lost a bunch of discs in some water hazards at a course and won't be able to get them back until the spring/summer season begins. If someone who is a regular to this course or lives around that area could please tell me, I would greatly appreciate that.

I am actually debating about calling the park office tomorrow. Had one of the worst disc golf experiences today. I will never bring my 3 year old daughter with me to play at Kensington until she is much, much older. I'm all for having a good time and having the occasional puff or drink on the course, I cannot however condone the use of hard drugs, especially in front a 3 year old. The amount of casuals was insane, there was at least 6-7 people still waiting to tee off Hole 1 at 7:45pm. Took almost 3 hours to place by myself. I know K-Town has it's moments where all the city rats come out of the wood work, but the attitudes & the casualness of people smoking Meth absolutely blew my mind. Yes, people were smoking glass, I know what it smells like & it wasn't weed or crack-cocaine! Very disappointing to say the least, especially with all the garbage around garbage cans, I guess folks cannot make into the can. Not once did I see a patrol where someone was checking Id's and passes, nice to know the money I paid for my annual passes is going to good use. Clearly I can only enjoy this course with the family at 8am before the city rats appear, bummer, the course is an excellent challenge & extremely fun to play.

Jon for going for the first time it almost 2 years, I would take what you say with a grain of salt due to the fact that you came at the end of the season when there is no one really monitoring the park. When they do have you pay to play, infact, the course is awesome. I played all summer there and never had an issue or saw anyone doing anything destructive. And in the summer i can vouche that the park police or whatever they are, atleast attempt to check in on the course as i saw minors even get ... more

i came there last week my friend adam kann for a round for the first time in almost 2 years ago and we came in the early morning, you must have a rampant truancy problem or something as we saw a group of 6+ underage kids come out of nowhere when we were on 11 i believe and start walking up to his disc like they were going to take off with it. these same kids were also causing ruckus throughout the park the entire time we were there, there was nobody to report it to as they were not collectiing p ... more

Yep bunch of bums. We did our best to get them caught, but nope, the bums walk again. If anybody witnesses this crap, they should try to nonchalantly record vandalism with their phones or cameras. And call the police. They need hard proof to arrest on the spot.

So today at about dusk, as we were finishing our round, we were approached by a young guy that was saying someone was shaking the baskets and actually uplifted hole 6 out of the ground. he also told us the people that did it, were still on the course. he proceeded to call the police, and i went and checked on hole 6. As i walked up to it, i noticed it was in fact leaning over, so put it back upright, and ran back. as i got back the police were just showing up, right as the accused group walked u ... more
