My buddy lost a glow md3 out there on the big course yesterday. He was overcome by the beauty of the course, started taking pictures, and walked away from it somewhere - not exactly sure where. Both contacts on back. $ or disc reward

We just played here and only found 1 of the new holes. Can anyone tell me where the locations of the other holes are??? We found the one hole between 14 and 15. Evil hill climb to get to the new tee pad.

After 13 you play the carpet teepad to the left of the basket, play up the sand, then climb the hill behind the basket and go right, up the hill to the next tee pad. it circles around and comes back to 14. Layout goes 13, A, B, C, D, 14, E, 15...

I am planning on coming in from out of town and playing these courses. Is there anyone to talk to about playing them or are they both open or what? It appears one is "(currently not available)". I'm just trying to see if I can play here on Friday. Thank you.

I appreciate the advice! I'm sure i can find my way if the holes are there. thank you again!

Chris Lozen   November 18 at 7:51am

For the punishment definitely play the longs on the rotary. It's probably one of the most fun courses to play in Michigan with all of the elevation. Pine Knoll is an added bonus with plenty of opportunity for ace runs!

Wade TF   November 18 at 11:38am

Thank you very much Chris! I'm playing them on Friday and I'm really excited

The holes are downright awesome! Way cool. Lot of walking though.

Matt Fradenburg   August 23, 2015 at 10:21pm

we missed the alternates during our 1st round, but after asking our helpful, fellow discers we found the first 4 and missed the trail again to the 5th, but A was cool playing through the Gobi. B up the steps and hill to that arrowhead ridge is grueling, and excellent. C,D were a blur after 34 holes, but we loved every bit of those too. great job. that course rocks!

Forrest Omland   August 24, 2015 at 8:18am

Nice job guys! Liked them a whole lot.

Ken Sailler    June 29, 2015 at 10:50pm

Going up for the fourth and wondering if the rotary course is playable, why does it say unavailable

Mike Leifeld   June 30, 2015 at 5:16pm

Is there anything going on at either Hanson Hills course on Friday or Saturday? Doubles, leagues, tournaments etc...?

Jammer Gross "Team Tilley's"   June 30, 2015 at 6:35pm

doubtful, league is Thursday . tournament at mt. pleasant Saturday and Sunday

Alyse Avery    May 21, 2015 at 12:24am

I'm planning on playing tomorrow and would love to have someone show me around the course if anyone is playing before league around 2 hit me up

Mike Leifeld    May 15, 2015 at 3:18pm

I see there are leagues on Thursdays but does anyone run any kind of doubles events or anything at this course on the weekend? I'll be up there the next couple days and am always looking for a game!

Eric Guimond   May 15, 2015 at 12:11pm

Same here, I would be looking to play Sunday morning with a friend of mine. Pickup league anyone?

Eric Guimond   May 15, 2015 at 12:15pm

Or even Saturday 1:30 to 4ish

Wesley Willoughby   May 16, 2015 at 3:09pm

There's normally a few league guys that go out and play doubles on Sundays. Post something to Hanson hills dgc on Facebook and you might find a few people wanting to play

Gary King    October 19, 2014 at 1:00am

Amazing day today! Fall colors really make for a great round.

Robert Kraut   October 19, 2014 at 2:03pm

I bet I was about an hour south Hanson, in West Branch and it was great!

Justin Andre    October 17, 2014 at 1:22pm

PINE KNOLL COURSE IS NOW ALL METAL BASKETS!! The Hanson Hills Disc Golf Club has raised enough money through League Play 2014, and has donated 9 new Chainstar baskets to replace the Wood Baskets!!

Chad Cole   October 17, 2014 at 1:50pm

Kinda sad to hear this. I really liked the wooden baskets (even if they aren't quite as sturdy and reliable as the new ones will be). Better course play is always nice though.

Cory Hulbert    July 29, 2014 at 9:33am

Is there a fee to get into the park at all? I'm not from the area and would like to know if I need to take some cash when I go to play.

Bug spray, and wear either pants or long socks if you play as Steve put it the big boy course.

Robert Kraut   July 29, 2014 at 11:34am

oh also bring cash anyway and donate!

Cory Hulbert   July 29, 2014 at 12:05pm

I had planned on that, I always try to donate whenever I can. And thanks for the heads up.

Robert Kraut    May 19, 2014 at 8:48pm

What's the condition of the course? I'll be up there this weekend, should I bring boots?

Jammer Gross "Team Tilley's"   May 19, 2014 at 9:09pm

No snow on the course. Pine Knoll was a little soggy on a couple holes from the rain we had but other than that, both courses are in great shape

Joe Wingett    May 6, 2013 at 8:07pm

Tye dye Rhyno left on #9 green of Pine Knoll. Reward given for return.

Thanks a ton for the quick response Ryan and Hanson Hills. Look forward to checking out the course. When are the new baskets going in?
