Potential, potential, potential. This course has more of it than any other I've been to in the area. As it is, it's just a 9 holer that you can make if you're traveling to Mathews, Indian Creek, or down to the Monty and are on highway 11 anyway.

Great place to practice (hole 1 is wide open field 425ft), some fun wooded holes, quick 9, but long walk back to vehicle after finishing hole 9.

no cement pads. not maintained. most posts are missing information and could not tell how far it is to the basket or what the par should be. paths are not visible to the next hole so had to look around to find the next tee on several holes

Hole number one has moved and no longer a long open shot. New location is across from hole painted on the walking path. So if you were to make a video game of disc golf and get to create a course but only selected tee pad and basket locations and did no maintenance. That would be Criswell. I felt like I was a pioneer of the course. Like there had been no one before me to even make a walking path. I doubt that I would play here again unless there is a cruel bet or awesome play pack involved lol.

It's a shame that this course seems to be the ugly step child of Walton County. There are some tight shots to make as well as some open holes. Great course to first start out on. If they would put some effort into this park and add some more holes then more people would show up. If you're looking for a quick 9 and don't want to worry about getting caught behind a big group then this is the course to hit up.

I love Criswell. Play it s few times a week on the way to or from work. Definitely cleaned up compared to what it was. Some open and some woods. Nothing fancy but quiet and safe place to toss some discs. Feels like home

This course has great potential and I can't wait to get it into better shape. Currently a 9 hole course but may be an 18 one day. Don't sleep on Criswell!

good condition, played well, covered in thorns but only enough to be annoying. good course for beginners trying to improve their game.
