Pros:
Good quality pads and baskets. Signs are clear and detailed.
Long and short concrete tees for each hole.
Being on a university campus, the course is always mowed well. The new Back 9 runs through and beside the Cross Country track course, so fairways are well defined and groomed. The university has added a large parking lot as well,

Cons:
A private course on a college campus sharing space with a track and field facility, there are no restrooms, benches or trash cans. Pack it in/pack it out!
Watch out for track and field runners; they have right of way. If there is a track event, the place will be ridiculously busy and the course isn't gonna be playable.
OB in the back 9 is tall prairie grass. Keep an eye on your discs, if you are wild off the tee; it's easy to lose errant discs.

Other Thoughts:
Cedarville University has added another 9 holes to the course, and it has changed the feel of it completely, for the better. It's a tale of two halves, with the front 9 holes being the original 9-hole course. A few 'air-it-out' drives on wide open 350-400 foot holes, one 120-foot tunnel shot, and three dogleg shots < 200 feet. No significant challenges. OB roads or fences in play on a few holes. Advanced/pro players will likely not find this 9-hole course much of a challenge. Recreational players will enjoy it much more.

The new back 9, on the other hand, is a real pro-level layout. Multiple true par 4s, 750-footers, some significant elevation changes, defined fairways with challenging OB, a few blind shots over OB, an island hole, and a partridge in a pear tree.

The back 9 is an excellent complement to the front; an advanced/pro player will be trying to birdie as many of the front 9 as possible (all 9 are deuceable) and then hang on through the back . Current course record is a 47, though a perfect round could hit double digits. A solo round can take 60-70 minutes, and a quick cycle of the front 9 only takes 30-40.

This is (now) a great course, that will challenge anyone; definitely worth checking out!
