This Sunday, 10/30/16, is a 5th Sunday. So....we are heading to Camp Taloali. Regular start time, 10am. Costs are all the same with one exception. Camp Taloali has a $5 day use fee for disc golfers. So please make sure that you take that into account when heading out to play. So come on out for some fun. I will be bringing some ctp's as well.

A non profit organization that charges a mandatory "donation" to play a course that they do not help out with. I'm over taloali and what they represent. Bunch of scam artists in my opinion.

Matt Bressler   September 3, 2016 at 3:59pm

Yep, Dallas. If they are going to charge and not keep up with the course then I would move on as well.

Ugh Massa   September 3, 2016 at 4:45pm

great course. dont throw in the bushes.

Tyler Franklin    August 30, 2016 at 4:13am

Camp Taloali will be closed for the summer 19 June 2016- 21 August 2016. (Last day to play being 18 June) Please be respectful of the camp closure, this may be the last year we have to deal with it!

Doug Morgan   June 15, 2016 at 10:51pm

Why is this possibly the last year we have to deal with it?

Kayla Winslow   July 1, 2016 at 8:35pm

CCDG is working with the Camp Taloali staff/board to keep the course open all summer. We all hope that by next summer it will be!

Steve Moore    May 3, 2016 at 1:01am

Nice morning round at Taloali except for fact I couldn't find a practice basket anywhere, see nice location for one. Can any body answer up as to what real deal is now after Lucky Huk2 and LSO, we are still without promised basket. There has been numerous attempts at this now for 3 or more years and they all seem to have failed to this point. Just be nice to know what is going on with this, thank you

The two new baskets have been purchased and installed. Old basket number two will likely be replaced as a practice basket, after the approval of the Taloali board.

Steve Moore   May 2, 2016 at 6:12pm

Thank you for update Kayla, Saw the 2 repacement baskets while playing today and appreciate those finally got handled properly. Does CCDG have any plans in place for maintaining course or working with camp on this topic. If not hen I may try to go into meeting with the camp Board over summer to s ... more

I'd like to give a huge thank you to Camp Taloali, Capital City Disc Golf, & Liquid Sunshine Open 2016 participants for the purchase of 2 DGA Mach V's to replace baskets #2 & #7 on the Jerry Miller DGC @ Camp Taloali. Basket #2 will be repurposed for a practice basket, installation of the practice basket will take place mid-April 2016.

Nope. :-(

Ira B   February 9, 2016 at 10:17pm

I looked around and no luck.

Tyler Franklin   February 9, 2016 at 10:50pm

Yah. Im prerty confident that the firebird is gone. But im betting that the other two are still out there somewhere. I just need to carve out some time to go look.

Steve Moore    December 29, 2015 at 11:13pm

Could some one please respond as to if Capital City Disc Golf has any interest in or plans for the future of Camp Taloali disc golf course. Also who has keys at this time since some baskets have been moved. Thank you ahead of time for an answer to this. If not any plans in place could the camp be notified of this so that a group of interested disc golfers could put a plan in place and take responsibility for it. This has been on going and time for this fine course to get the attention it needs and should have. Thank you

So it seems there has been some basket moving going on recently, anyone know who has the keys so we can make regular moving of baskets happen again? Thank you

Steve Moore   December 15, 2015 at 3:21pm

Also wondering if CCDG has any plans for further improvements and maintenence on this course. If not then I am willing to head up a group of interested people in working with the camp on this. Thank you

scotty don't- make putts   December 15, 2015 at 4:24pm

If you get a plan set for the camp Steve I am more than willing to volunteer my time and any use of tools I have

I just got some of my discs and two of my family's bags back! About 42 discs total, there is a third bag that is not mine that was returned to me with the others. I'm looking for the owner, describe it to me and its coming back to you. I'm sorry both Sean and Mo, its not one of the bags either of you had posted up getting stolen about the same time mine was.
