As of today the following improvements have recently been made at the course:
- Hole 1, Blue Tee Box has had the information pole removed from the flight path. The poor tree that still remains is a hazard you need to try to avoid. If I get enough pressure from you all, I might move the tee box a little west. The new information box has maps again and they have been updated. A new illustrated map is being designed by a real artist and hopefully ready to go by Aug. 7th grand opening tournament.

Something new every week is happening at this course. The push is to really spruce things up in time for our coming out party, Thursday, August 7 for the tournament, 12pm-9pm (flex start with last tee off at 7pm). New:
- New trail to Hole 14 tee boxes put in on Tuesday night
- Better marked tee boxes on the Outback Nine. Much better ones coming as we have an Eagle Scout working the challenge and will add chains to every basket.
- Tree stumps at Hole 17 sawed off
- Basket to be installed tod ... more

A Short Game Facility is where one can really work on putting skills. Its a fancy putting green. There are 9 stations for straight unobstructed putting, each with a laminated white sign providing the distance starting at 8 ft. As one follows the circular pattern the distances increase. Brandon, that sounds awesome! Can't wait to get over there and check out the new Short Game Facility!

Effective immediately!.... This course only has the front 9 in operation due to severe vandalism on the back nine (motorcyclists tore the whole place up and took away all signs, markers). It will remain this way until possibly next spring.

So I went out and found the Beacon Hills Park. You can find the location here:,-111.801259&hl=en&sll=40.45311,-111.801018&sspn=0.002422,0.002411&t=h&z=17

It looks like this location had some great potential for an 18 hole course however there are a few things you should know before you go. No official tee pads or baskets yet. It’s laid out with some signage and surveying stakes for each tee pad and pin locatio ... more
