New basket ordered for OG 5. I is a Mach 7, so it will be different rhan the rest back there. Two practice baskets ordered, one will be placed near the OG, the other up by the Front 18.

The front 18 are in good shape and totally playable without hardly any mud. There is some standing water on hole 8 but its playable and there is a little water between 14's basket and 15's teepad but totally playable and that's it. Gotta be in the best shape of any other area course.

Check out the MVP Space Race in the events on here, Nov 11 OG 9, 2 rounds. Have to order end of this week. Got two signed up, 9 more verbally committed, waiting on their signups. Need 24 total people to make it happen!

We also will be replacing the OG5 damaged basket with a new Mach 7. Waiting on two Mach 2’s for practice baskets. One up front, one back by the OG.

UDisc has been completely updated as of today for the Front 18, both longs and shorts. OG9 to be done by next weekend. We will have signs this spring, and will pour the remaining pads needed in the spring as well. We will be having several glow nights as long as the weather allows.

Signs for all 27 will be ordered soon! UDisc will be updated as well. We will be ordering concrete for pads and updating a couple if baskets as well as installing practice baskets. Twisted Disc and Arthur Latham Park has received a huge donation to help finish the course up. Its awesome to be a part of such a great community in Millington!

OG #5 fairway all along the river is freshly trimmed, the woods side of the fairway will be done by end of weekend. All landing areas and around the basket have been trimmed as well. Basket will be reset in the ground this weekend. This iconic hole is starting to look beautiful again and is VERY playable again.

OG #3 and #4 fairways are freshly trimmed finally! Course is starting to get beautiful again! One small pocket of ferns/tall weeds were left on 4, right after the shorts to the right. Hoping to get #5, #6, #8 cleaned by the end of next weekend! Most of the original is now playable with the exception of the tall weeds on 5 still.

That must really grow back there. I had it perfect a year and a half ago. OG 6 took me 3 weeks. The fairway was a foot and a half wide. Keep up the good stuff.

OG 9 UPDATE
Will be ordering a new basket next week for #9, thanks to an amazing local business. Will be fixing hole #5 basket soon as well. Hole #2 has been cleared out and the steps are built and will be installed in the coming weeks.

Holes all should be numbered on the wooden posts we put in. Park is working with DGA on tee signs, should have been here months ago. We have concrete to start pouring pads, but with only two of us working on the park 1-2 days a week its going to be awhile still. We are trying to get the OG in playable condition first. So much to do.

OG 9 is slowly being brought back to life. #1 is complete, #2 is 70% cleared and we have steps for the hill to the basket. #3 has been started at the bottom. Hope to finish #2,#3 and #4 next weekend. Alot of work to be done still.

Way cool. I just did it back there a year and a half ago. Basket 1 wasnt even in the ground. 6 was so grown together that there wasn't any fairway left. I cut for 2 weeks on that. Etc. Etc. Put in shorts and signage everywhere. Then a park board member cut wood out there last winter and trashed the place.Kudos for working on the course! Ku

Hole 6 has been cut back off the tee on noth sides, but will need it again before end of season. Gole 1 basket still needs to ne set back into place, but playable. Wish I would have known about this comment section when you were working on the park, you would have had help.

Old hole 18 was flipped and converted to hole 3. Old hole 3 will now be 4 and so on….Hole 7 was taken away and converted into 2 holes.(to make up for hole 15 being deleted) so old hole 16 and 17 are now 17-18.

Positive News:
There is a proposed disc golf course coming to Buell Lake Park on Genesee road. Thetford township and Genesee County Parks have partnered together to put in 18 holes on the south side of the park. Hopefully this will be done in the next year or two!!!

Today, We are putting a short layout with red wood pegs and white number signs. Holes vary from 140-200 and hole 4 and 17 are the same. I will be updating DGS and UDisc with the layout
