(A) To promote the sport of disc golf within Carson City, NV by developing, improving and maintaining public facilities and amateur sports programs to be more accessible to a wide range of users in partnership with and approval from Carson City Parks & Recreation Department and under the financial umbrella of the Foundation for Carson City Parks and Recreation, a State of Nevada 501(c)(3) Public Benefit Corporation.
(B) To offer challenges to new and experienced disc golfers which encourage prolonged and active engagement in outdoor recreation as the sport of disc golf continues to grow.
(C) To design & manage course layouts and facilities to the highest standards in order to attract and accommodate top-tier professional PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) sanctioned as well as unaffiliated, un-sanctioned tour events.
(D) To organize, plan, promote and direct PDGA (Professional Disc Golf Association) sanctioned tournaments and other unaffiliated, unsanctioned tournaments and events at Carson Ridge Disc Golf Park in collaboration with other organizations.
(E) To develop marketing and outreach strategies that attract disc golf tourism dollars regionally, nationally and from the rapidly growing European disc golf travel market by proactively collaborating with other regional disc golf organizations and Carson City officials.
(F) To interpret the landscape ecology and historical significance of the site and region in line with local youth programs such as Place Based Education (PBE), lifelong-learning & public environmental education, more broadly, with the design & installation of signage, trail-work & markers which blend with natural environmental features, encouraging an ethos of land stewardship; a template for environmentally & culturally sensitive disc golf course design practices.
